  I go here, it's an awesome school taught by a Gracie BJJ blackbelt. They recently added wrestling, boxing, & muay thai teachers as well. Professor Steve is extraordinarily patient and hella funny. It's a lot of work to get promoted, but really all you need to do is commit to showing up & you'll improve. The gym is blessed by the great Ricardo Cavalcanti himself & has separate classes for men, women, & kids.

  Great guys! Very humble and professional! I'm from out of state and they let me drop in for a class and some rolls which was awesome. Definitely recommend for anyone locally interested in the sport or for anyone looking for a place to train while traveling.

  Steve is one of the most dedicated instructors I have ever met. He teaches real Brazilian jiu jitsu, which means you will also learn self defense. His kids classes are a positive environment, and his adult classes are where warriors are made.

  Best instructor in the state of Rhode Island. Quality jiu jitsu and clear lineage and clean technique. Best place I’ve trained hands down. Kid friendly and is no belt factory. Good self defense taught as well as great jiu jitsu.
