Was visiting town for the month, and I am so happy to have found a home away from home in Providence BJJ. The space is beautiful, clean, and inviting with locker rooms and showers. The other students are extremely friendly, considerate, and fun to train with! I have been able to train with people of all different levels here and there is no shortage of time after class to roll. Professor Marco is a truly great individual with a wealth of knowledge in BJJ, a passion for teaching, and a knack for uplifting everyone in the room. I am sad to be leaving, but would highly recommend Providence BJJ to anyone looking for great community and great jiujitsu!

Would definitely recommend a lot of higher belts that can give you a decent roll but also very friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Got around 9-10 rolls and everybody was good but also respectful.
Posted 5 months agoI was very lucky to drop in for a class while visiting my family in Providence. Teachers and facilites are above any expectations you can have. Super clean and inclusive dojo. Good sense of community and the methodology they teach JJ is very professional and inclusive to any color belt. learned a lot in very few time. 100% recommend!
Posted 4 months agoWe dropped by for a Friday class while visiting family in the area. This was one of the nicest, cleanest, most welcoming gyms I’ve ever been to. Prof. Marco ran a really great class and I learned a lot. Highly recommend giving Providence BJJ a try - I sincerely can’t imagine a better environment for BJJ.
Posted 2 months agoI visited this gym with my son who is a student there. I was so impressed with the facility and the class. All of the students made me feel welcome and the teacher made me feel like a part of the class even though I had no experience. I learned a few techniques right off the bat. I highly recommend the gym if you are looking for an inclusive and friendly place to learn Jiu Jitsu.
