Came here visiting from San Jose looking to get some jiu jitsu class time in. From the onset everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Professor Dax runs a really good program and it shows in the knowledge of his students. One purple belt fixed my crab ride with a simple tip! I squeezed in a quick roll with Prof. Dax and he gave me tips on how to fix my guard recovery from open guard. Cons: Bring a little more water than you think is necessary. You will sweat a lot!

Dax is a very knowledgeable yet patient teacher who takes time with each individual to make sure they understand the concept each class. The atmosphere at the gym is very welcoming and family oriented. I’ve been to many gyms but haven’t seen any quite as welcoming and accommodating as this one.

My son has been training under Professor Dax since 2019 and has enjoyed it. All the other instructors are very good and friendly with kids. My granddaughter who is three has started taking the little warriors class. It's a friendly and family environment that is very inclusive. The academy also offers boxing classes which my son also takes. The coaches there are also very good with kids.

My son has been training with Ribeiro for over 3 years now. We live in Pahrump and try to make it at least 3 times a week and more if we can. This has been an incredible journey for my son, and I can truly and honestly say that he has gained so much within this time. Sensei Dax and his wife Glenda are wonderful people who make you feel welcome and definitely believe in family values. Ashley and Ryan are other instructors that my son has had the opportunity to train with and learn from. They as well have strong family values. All of the instructors are very attentive and will take extra time if need be to assist in training. Every student, adult or child is taken care of. Over a year ago, the academy added more to the family by including Robert and his Rebel Boxing family. Since this time my son has been training in boxing with Robert and his brother, and I have had the opportunity to participate in their cardio boxing classes. I can't tell you how much I enjoy each and every class! I get bummed out when I have to miss a class. My son and I have enjoyed our journey thus far and look forward to the future with Ribeiro. It has been a very personal experience not only seeing them grow, but actually being a part of it.

Excellent instructors and students. I came in as a visitor for a week and they were very welcoming. I bought the JJ University book a while back so I wanted to see their system first hand. The owner and his wife are very knowledgeable and created a great training environment for their students. It definitely has a family vibe which is always key to running an academy. No egos in this school and highly recommended for anyone local looking for a bjj school or for anyone traveling through. Thank you Ribeiro JJLV for the great experience. I’ll definitely return when I’m in LV again.

These guys could not have been cooler. Friendly, welcoming, environment for a visiting jiu-jitsu player. Was lucky enough to attend a very small class and was given tons of tips to help my specific game. Super knowledgeable and excellent instruction. I've found my bjj home whenever I'm in Vegas.

I had a great experience rolling at Ribeiro Jiu-jitsu. It's rare to find an instructor that is just as capable grappling as he is teaching - and he looooves teaching! I learned a ton of techniques within 2 hours, and that was jiu-jitsu. Given his black belt in Judo, I'll have to visit again to drill takedowns. His students seem respectful, and mindful, of the potential for injuries during open mat. Many move with technique rather than raw strength to execute escapes and sweeps. I was impressed. Ultimatlely, this gym is easily one of the best places to roll if you're visiting Vegas, as I've open rolled at other local gyms and across state lines. Ribeiro was humble, provided me with a gi, and extended an invitation to train again. He caters to kids as well. He sets a strong standard for other gyms to follow - no inflated egos here despite his strong track record of success. I'll be sure to train here again, and suggest others do the same.

Great place. Friendly staff and students. Absolutely must visit. Most reasonable monthly rate for training. Both SenSei are World Champions. They offer a trial training before you join. Family atmosphere. One of the best and absolutely the most friendly DoJo I have ever encountered. I have trained in many DoJo's in my 52 years of life and this is the absolute friendliest Dojo that I have had the pleasure to be a part of.

I had some good rolls with the students and enjoyed a few classes until the coach tried to fight me because he couldn't pass my half guard lock down. Screaming at somebody and shoving them while they walk away is pathetic bully behavior. Go pick a fight with somebody who wants to fight you. I do this for fun and you ruined that tonight, thanks.
