  I’ve been coming here for 3 years and Coach Rob has always created a comfortable environment. My entire family (kids, husband, father) trains here and I can say it’s definitely a welcoming place. I had a baby 4 months ago and I feel like because of Coach Rob I can train and not feel like my baby is a distraction.

  My daughter has been coming to Lagasca Brazilian Jiujitsu for the past 10 months. Coach Rob has always made her feel welcome from day one as she was completely hesitant in even wanting to try the class. Since then she literally goes to class almost 5 days a week as she really enjoys the positive environment and the valuable skills that Coach Rob teaches his kids. I really value what Coach Rob has taught her. Before my daughter started she had really low self confidence. Since joining her self confidence has improved significantly and has a growth mind set. My daughter has also competed in 4 tournaments and Coach Rob was always there by her side. She has won all gold and one silver ( controversial) which tells you not only his skill level but how effective he is when it comes teaching the kids the sport. In fact, most of his kids usually all do very well and take home Gold. He genuinely cares about all his kids and makes it very easy for the kids to learn each move to where they understand and apply the moves. We are completely happy and thankful that we were recommended to train with Coach Rob. I would definitely recommend Coach Rob for some awesome training.

  I had such a lovely open mat session here coming from out of town. The coach was really responsive and approachable and has created a great culture in his gym. You can really see how passionate he is about the sport. I am always a little nervous about going to new gyms, but the whole team was really friendly and showed me a lot of new things. Almost everyone had higher belts, and all had zero ego. Great place to train, I am definitely coming back, and also super convenient they are open Sundays too.

  Training at Lagasca BJJ has been an incredible experience! The instructors are not only skilled practitioners but also great teachers who take the time to unsure everyone understands and improves. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, making it easy to learn and grow. The facility is well-maintained, and there's a real sense of camaraderie among students:) I highly recommend Lagasca BJJ!!!

  Great place for adults to train at... and an even greater place for kids. Coach Rob does an amazing job with the kids and teens that attend his classes. He genuinely cares about each child and is willing to teach them as long as they show respect and discipline. Don't hesitate to have your children attend. They will be in a very safe and friendly environment.
