I am pleased to share my experience at Renzo Gracie!!! Professor John Rogers, Professor Fred Rodriguez, and Coach Ale Rogers are TRUE educators and exemplify excellence in teaching Jiu-jitsu and offer great mentorship with kids! Their communication skills are outstanding, effectively engaging with students and ensuring they understand and apply techniques correctly!! They foster a strong sense of community and emphasize the importance of discipline, which is invaluable for personal growth. As a parent, I appreciate the positive environment they create at Renzo Gracie. Their passion for their work is evident, and it translates into an energetic and friendly atmosphere. I am excited to witness my son's development under their guidance. Overall, I highly recommend their programs to anyone looking for a supportive and enriching experience! I would give more stars it it were a thing. Its nice to see adults who care about the kids and actually work on technical issues and cammand kids attention 💪🏽Pretty awesome in my book. My son got excited about Jiu-jitsu again!
Posted 6 months agoLearning from Professor Fred is a privilege and an honor. Having trained all over the country (literally) and have yet to come into contact w/ a man so dedicated and passionate about teaching the intricacies and legitimate artistic skill of jiu-jitsu the way profé does. Today, I continue to utilize his teaching methods when I train others. His agenda, structure, and distinct style of teaching left an indelible impression on me and I intend to pass this onto all those I can influence. For a select few, jiu-jitsu is not about competing, not about feeding a habit or achieving likes on YouTube (if those are your drives, God bless ya, b/c they’re NOT bad ones). For some, jiu-jitsu is one of the only things found that can relieve an anxious mind and salve the physiological pain accumulated over a lifetime of demanding violence. Fred understands this better than anyone and teaches jiu-jitsu accordingly, ensuring his methods and techniques help bring peace and discipline to an increasingly dramatic and over-stretched world. If you’re looking for the best jiu-jitsu in El Paso (and, in my opinion, the country), you can do no better than to make Renzo Gracie El Paso YOUR academy.
Posted 8 months agoThis is a beautiful, clean new gym. Instructors are among the best in the city! I have been training and learning from them for years. Great culture and vibes as well, I would highly recommend.
Posted 9 months agoGreat spot. I went to the grand opening not knowing anyone. The owners and everyone were very welcoming. That's incredibly important when you are looking for a spot to train and the invite is warm and fuzzy. Now go train!
