Hayashi's Martial Arts Academy, has been life changing for my family. Hayashi’s dojo exceeds expectations and the highest standards. It’s a lovely family ran business, that adds charm to the dojo experience. We’ve ONLY experienced exceptional and professional learning and skill building, while the atmosphere maintains a friendly and welcoming learning environment, promoting individual growth, while crafting leadership skills and confidence, as well as team building. Any skill level is welcome at the dojo. There is no intimidation factor, of any kind present, regardless of experience. Each student is given the proper balance of help/guidance, while learning. The schedule and classes that are offered are very flexible with our lifestyle. Pricing is INCREDIBLE and beyond reasonable for most budgets. My son attends five days a week and participates in multiple classes. The instructor/owner is mindful and offers a balance of accommodation and structure while teaching. The students, of all ages, are welcoming, kind, and always willing to be helpful. My son is autistic with adhd; he is thriving! My son has graduated many therapies, due to all of the structure and the positive environment, as well as ALL of the learning at Hayashi’s Dojo. My son has drastically improved socially and emotionally because of the confidence building and friendships that we’ve made at the dojo. Full circle, this facility is FABULOUS for any person/family seeking to learn and develop skills in martial arts, that carry into other areas needed in life for happiness, wellness, and success.

Best dojo in El Paso! The instructors are all second or third generation, very knowledgeable, very experienced. Growing up in cheap karate classes I wasn’t sure what to expect, just wanted to keep my kids busy but I greatly underestimated the value of this place. Parents, don’t let your kids be fooled by fake martial artists breaking fake boards. This place is the real deal, not cookie cutter franchise trash marketing fake karate chops to first graders. Also, surprisingly affordable, especially if you have multiple kids.

I went to the competition yesterday and had a blast, it was well run if understaffed and good sportsman ship was seen all around by the home dojo hosting the event and most of the other competitors. The refs did a great job ensuring safety of the athletes while trying to be as none biased and professional as possible. I had an excellent experience here spectating and coaching and would be happy to attend another event in the future.

Best dojo ever! I signed my daughter for kids judo/MMA and it has been the best decision ever. 11/10 recommend. Sensei is great with kids, and my daughter has learned so much in very little time. Love it here!

Hayashi's is a dojo that respects all as equals. Sure some fighters are more advanced than others, but this place will teach you, and give you the tools to learn. Kate Grey seems more like a scout than a spectator for a "gym in her city". Seems to me she just bashing hayashi's to boost up her gyms membership volume. Instead you should learn how to support one another Kate Grey.
