Coach Marcus is an amazing coach!! From the moment I started training at his martial arts academy, the atmosphere was welcoming and motivating. As a beginner, Coach Marcus does a great job breaking down techniques in a clear and easy-to-understand way, making it simple to learn and improve from day one. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping his students get better. I’ve started training in jiu jitsu, Gi jiu jitsu, kickboxing, and MMA, and the quality of instruction across all classes has been top-notch. The gym is clean, well-organized, and filled with positive, disciplined energy. Everyone is respectful and focused, which makes it a great place to train and grow. This academy is a solid choice for anyone looking to learn martial arts, whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills. Training here has been a great experience, and I’m excited to keep progressing under Coach Marcus’s guidance. 💪🥋

Coach Marcus has been an awesome instructor for my son. My son has true commitment to continuing BJJ, choosing to go almost everyday and wanting to do competitions in the near future. Highly recommend Train Certified for anyone adult or child wanting to get into it.

Coach Marcus is very dedicated and knowledgeable, excellent with advanced students yet very patient with beginners, making them feel truly welcome—from young children all the way to older adults. He always maintains a positive and respectful attitude, which is why I highly recommend him.

Marcus is a world class instructor for kids, competitors, and hobbyists alike. I’ve trained at a number of gyms and Train Certified is one of the top rooms I can recommend. Great push and great atmosphere all around.

Coach Marcus not only teaches, but makes you feel as though you can teach yourself. Have had trouble with my Jiu Jitsu, and working with Coach and learning how to connect my moves together to create more flow is awesome.

My son has been attending wrestling class for the past few months, and I couldn't be happier with his progress. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly dedicated to helping each child improve their skills.
