In my opinion, this is one of the best children’s play areas around. What I really like is how well it has been designed for children — the play area feels safe, there is plenty for them to explore and enjoy, and so much thought has clearly gone into the layout. The soft surfaces make a huge difference, especially with younger children. They can run around, climb and play freely, while as a parent you can relax a little more knowing the environment has been designed with children’s safety in mind. A really well-designed outdoor play area and definitely one of our favourite places to bring the kids. Highly recommended for families.
Good Venue, which includes gym, free weights area, football pitches, sand pit for long jump 100 meter track and gymnastics area. Good indoor and outdoor football training areas, good gym area. Best leg equipment I've seen for a while in any gym. All new and replaced the free weight area
Huge facility, covering a multitude of different sports, gymnastics, boxing, ect. Cafe is quite expensive.
Cracking venue every sports facility should aim to be like this. Attend a good few times a year for my daughter's dance competitions. Loads of different activities and the locals are lucky to have such a cracking facility near them. Play parks an extra bonus lets the kids round around while waiting at a busy dance day. Only fault id say is the parking/over flow car park could be alot better. Specially when there's a lot of different stuff on at a weekend. Overflow car park can be doing with some work done to it
Posted 10 months agoI take my toddler to gymnastics here & find they offer so many different classes to lots of age ranges. There is lots of parking, lots of open space for kids to run about & a big park next to the building which is amazing for kids.
Posted 12 months agoThe gym is huge with an excellent variety of new equipment. The sports halls are fantastic for football, badminton, or basketball, and the indoor climbing wall is a great challenge. The entire facility is always spotlessly clean and well-organized. It's a brilliant, welcoming place for athletes and casual gym-goers alike.
Posted 1 year agoWell kept park and great for running, walking the dog and getting out on a sunny day with the kids. Gym is good and indoor pitches are great as well. If they could open the back gate that would be amazing to get out at the weekends when it's busy.
Came for the 4 nations boxing and really enjoyed it. This venue is great and very well run.
Came to check out the gym as my usual is closed for now. Found the gym to be very dark.... All machines look very new and up to date... Not sure if place is suitable for me but will give it a try. We went to the cafe which is reasonably priced and tea was nice. Lots of lovely cakes, which had to be resisted. Staff seem nice. Have been going regularly now and finding my way around ..spent more time in the cafe I think though 😀😋🤤😆

Posted 9 months agoTook my 4 year old Granddaughter and she enjoyed herself - sadly the place is a midden now - people are leaving dog bags with poo in them instead of using bins - litter everywhere - big change since i took my other Grandkids for a treat - both of them enjoyed that visit and had already asked to go back - been back a few times since - but who ever is responsible for the cleaning the park has let it get into a unhealthy terrible state 😔😔
Posted 3 years agoAbsolutely massive facility which is great for the wider community but the infrastructure simply cant support the volume. Cafe was chaotic and filthy, vending machines largely empty or broken, bins (if you could find any) overflowing and this place is famous for how horrendous parking is.
I was disappointed with my experience today. I understand that the gym has rules about under-16s after 6:00 pm, and I respect that. However, the way I was spoken to was unnecessary and felt very rude. The staff member asked my age, I told him honestly that I was 13, and instead of explaining the policy politely, he simply told me to “leave.” Usually when I come in with my older brother, they would be in the changing room and I would go in there and it has never been an issue, so I was confused by the different treatment. I have no problem following the rules, but I think staff should speak to customers with more respect and explain things clearly rather than being dismissive. I hope this feedback helps improve how younger members are treated in the future.
