Profectus Brentwood is at the forefront of the middle TN Jiu-Jitsu community and has created an environment of growth and opportunity for our members. Our culture and structure is designed to fulfill the varying demands of all of our students. For those wanting to compete we have an exclusive competition team with extra classes/training sessions. For those looking to start their jiu jitsu journey, learn self defense or enjoy practicing the art we boast 14 classes/week for adults and 6 classes/week for kids!

    Our kids joined this gym to try BJJ for the summer just to try something new. One year later and we’re still here! My oldest was very sensitive (she could get bumped into accidentally and cry) and now this kid has transformed! My younger two love it as well and don’t want to give it up for other activities. Kids develop confidence, coordination, friendships, and of course great fitness. Coach Fayyaz and Coach Bryce are very kind to the children, make class fun, and most importantly are clear communicators. The overall vibe is welcoming and chill but humming with a sense of excellence. The gym is super CLEAN! It’s right across from Costco and Aldi on the next street. And my favorite part on the sidelines is chillin with Dani’s beautiful plants.

    I've been training at Profectus Brentwood for about 2 years. The instructors are amazing, and the classes are technical and super informative. I came from a rock climbing background and found that the problem solving aspect of climbing is also a huge part of Jiu jitsu, which I've loved. I've found a great community at this gym. Everyone is supportive but also challenges me to be the best I can be, both on the mats and in life!

    I LOVED training at Profectus BJJ! Prof. Fayyaz and Coach Dani run an amazing BJJ school with a great training room. I would put the instructional quality up there against the best instructors in the world. My two years here made me a better human in every way. If you are looking for a place to train, I HIGHLY recommend it.

    I could not have been happier with my experience at Profectus. It is an amazing place to train. They have great coaches. The talent is exceptional. The class schedule has everything to make you a better grappler...drilling, competition classes, and open mats.

    Profectus is a great training space for all - the gym has a great environment, a helpful and amazing community, and extremely talented instructors. As a black belt woman, a good gym has a to have a developed women’s program for me to know that the top level management cares about women’s bjj, and Profectus has a number of talented ladies at all different belt levels. Would 100% come here again and I recommend this spot to anyone visiting Tennesse!
