  Visited Gracie Barra during the holiday break from CT and the Renzo Gracie Academy. Gracie Barra provided free drop ins for Gracie members and the class training was fantastic. Coach Anna did a great job breaking down the positions and encouraged understanding positions and opportunities for submissions within the training of specific positions. Will definitely be coming back every time I am visiting and will consider GB Franklin as my home away from home as I continue my jiu jitsu journey for years to come!

  We started both our boys here at age 3, and our oldest is now 8. We absolutely love it. The coaches and professors are fantastic with the kids—they not only teach strong physical skills, but also discipline, focus, and self-control. Our boys burn off a ton of energy, and the training has helped them in every other sport they play. If you’re looking for a great place for jiu-jitsu, this is it. Highly recommend!

  We love this place! My son started when he was 3, and now at 6 years old he’s confident, disciplined, and truly bully-proof. Don’t wait. If you want your child to learn how to sit still, follow instructions, and show respect to teachers and classmates, bring them here. His kindergarten teachers are amazed by his behavior and focus — and we know this program is a big reason why. Thank you Prof. Chris, Justin, and all the coaches for your dedication, excellence, and the confidence you build in these kids. We’re so grateful! 🙌

  I got my 3.5 yr old into Gracie Barra about a month ago. It has been great! He has never wanted to miss a practice and enjoys going every week. I love the structure for a 3 yr old. They aren't only teaching him Jiu Jitsu skills, but how to stand in line, raise his hand, listening and following instructions. One of the best things I could have gotten my son into at this stage of life!

  We’ve had such a great experience with Gracie Barra for more than 4years now. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly care about the kids. They not only teach Jiu-Jitsu skills but also focus on important values like discipline, respect, and teamwork. The environment is positive and family-oriented.
