Prana BJJ is one of the best places you could choose to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. Whether you’re completely new to martial arts or an experienced practitioner, this gym welcomes you with open arms. The coaching staff here are second to none – they don’t just teach techniques, they invest real time and passion into every single student. You can feel how much they genuinely care about helping you progress, no matter your level. What makes Prana BJJ even more special is the atmosphere. There’s a great sense of community on the mats, and it’s clear that everyone is there to support one another. On top of that, the gym has a cafe-style seating area where you can relax before or after training, grab a coffee, or stock up on top-quality fitness supplements and protein powders. With a clear view of the training area, it’s also a perfect spot for friends or family to watch while you train. If you’re looking for a place that combines top quality coaching, a welcoming environment, and the perfect balance of hard training and community, Prana BJJ is the place to be.

Great School, led by two black belt coaches who are very patient, welcoming and respectful. Each of five sessions a week is packed with technique drills followed by short sparring runs. If someone chooses not to spar, that's absolutely ok too. No one seems to be left out unattended and although skill levels vary and everyone works at his/her own pace, there is a big sense of togetherness within a group. Highly recommended for those who would like to learn Jiu-Jitsu for competitions, for self-defence and also for those like me, who are simply past their athletic prime (lol), but just want to stay active and fit.

I've had the pleasure of training at Prana Jiu-jitsu for several months now, and I can confidently say it's been an incredible journey. What sets Prana apart is not just the exceptional level of skill among the instructors but also their unwavering patience and understanding. From day one, I was welcomed into a supportive community where everyone, regardless of skill level, is treated with respect and encouragement. The instructors take the time to ensure that each student understands the techniques thoroughly, breaking them down step by step and offering personalized guidance along the way. What truly impressed me is their emphasis on mindfulness and compassion. Beyond the physical aspects of jiu-jitsu, Prana teaches the importance of mental clarity and emotional resilience, fostering a holistic approach to martial arts training. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Prana Jiu-jitsu provides a nurturing environment where you can grow both as a martial artist and as an individual. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and mastery.

2 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt coaches, and a packed mat 5 days a week. Great friendly atmosphere, and and a fun, safe environment to learn the world's fastest growing(and most effective!) martial art!

It’s always nerve wracking going to a class for the first time but John and Craig made me feel so welcome and included. It’s been 8-ish months since my first class and I can honestly say starting jiu-jitsu at 36 years old is the best thing I’ve done….. I just wish I’d started 20 years earlier!
