Welcome to Playfair Jiu Jitsu, we are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Merchiston Edinburgh offering BJJ, Submission Grappling and Kickboxing classes.
I've been training at this gym for about a month, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The coaches are fantastic, giving new members like me a lot of attention and valuable advice. They really take the time to ensure you understand the techniques, which makes learning feel very comfortable. The atmosphere is amazing—everyone is friendly, supportive, and welcoming to newcomers. It’s a great place to train, push your limits, and feel part of a community. Highly recommended!

A great place to learn BJJ and Kickboxing. Friendly atmosphere and a lot of knowledge. Everyone is great and you will learn something here. Can't recommend the place enough

Excellent instruction. Good rolls and great training partners. Just stopped in, short notice while in town they welcomed me.
