The Best Gym Around!!!!! If you are looking for a gym that is so much more than just a place to sweat, this is it. It is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to! Every single session is incredibly fun and something I genuinely look forward to. A massive shoutout to Brian. He is absolutely fantastic! I started here over two years ago & from day one, Brian made me feel incredibly welcome. His encouraging attitude & enthusiasm is infectious—he knows exactly how to push you to do your best while keeping a massive smile on your face. The atmosphere in Brian's is inreal. It’s warm, friendly and completely judgment-free. It truly feels like a big family, and that is completely down to Brian and the incredible environment he has created. The members here are amazing, and it’s the kind of place where you don't just make workout partners—you make friends for life.. If you're on the fence about joining, just do it. You won’t regret it!

Pikeman Martial Arts is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my kids. My eldest has been training Jiu-Jitsu with Brian for coming up to 3 years. He absolutely loves the sport and has grown so much as a person since starting he's so much more confident and social. My other 2 kids have really started to grab the sport and have started to fall in love too. Brian has a special way with kids. The way he coaches a class to being in a corner when there competing he gives 100% to the kids which is so special to see and for them have. He's an amazing coach and a great mentor. I could not recommend Brian and his team enough. Anyone who has ever thought about it, Do it. It's so worth it to see the reward. Its not just a normal gym it is really a community.

My son has been training at Pikeman Martial Arts for a few years now, doing Jiu Jitsu and MMA, plus some private coaching. It's been a really great experience. The coaches are super supportive and know their stuff — they make every class fun and challenging. My son has improved so much. What stands out is the owner Brian. He is fantastic to deal with. Easy to talk to, really knowledgeable, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the students. Overall it's a solid gym with a good vibe. Highly recommend it if you're looking for quality martial arts training!

My 2 boys attend jiu jitsu in Brian's gym. They absolutely love it. Brian is a fantastic coach, who shows serious dedication, patience and knowledge. The kids have grown hugely in confidence, and ability since joining.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Pikeman Martial Arts and Moore Fitness. Both of my sons attend jiu jitsu and MMA classes at Pikeman Martial Arts, and I can’t speak highly enough of Brian. He is incredibly patient and kind with the kids, while also being exceptionally knowledgeable. He creates a positive, structured environment where they’re not only learning martial arts skills, but also important values like respect, consistency, and friendship. He’s a truly great role model. I also train with Brian at Moore Fitness in a semi-private small group setting, and it’s been equally impressive. The smaller group size means everyone gets proper attention, and each of us follows a tailored program based on our individual fitness levels and goals. Brian is consistently encouraging, focused, and dedicated as a personal trainer, which makes a huge difference in both motivation and results. I would highly recommend both Pikeman Martial Arts and Moore Fitness to anyone looking for high-quality coaching in a supportive and professional environment.

Very disappointing experience! My children trained at this club from July to April and attended consistently, never missed a class. We always paid invoices on time, arrived on time, treated the coach and club with respect, and took the training seriously. I supported my children’s behaviour on the mats, encouraged discipline and respect, helped them with homework from class, and even asked about extra training days and when they could begin competitions. Unfortunately, despite our commitment and respect, our experience became very disappointing. Over time, I felt the quality of coaching dropped. The groups were often too large for the small space, with around 14 children (age cat. 3-6) and only one coach, which made it difficult for children to receive proper attention, correction, staying focused and support. At times, older children were allowed to take charge and boss younger children around, which created confusion and an uncomfortable power imbalance. My children worked hard, but I did not feel their effort was recognised, encouraged, or appreciated. I also felt there was unfair treatment compared with other children, especially around moving up classes and being allowed to compete. I was told my children were too young for competitions, yet I saw younger children and newer children being given opportunities. The same applied to moving up classes, it was never made clear for my children, while others clearly appeared to be allowed to progress. There were also situations that left me very uncomfortable as a parent. My daughter was badly pinched (red, deep sore blood skin mark) during class, and I felt the incident was dismissed rather than properly addressed. Perhaps because the father of that child is a friend. My son also felt uncomfortable partnering with certain children after repeated rough behaviour. When he expressed that he did not feel comfortable or safe, the focus seemed to be on the other child’s feelings rather than supporting my son’s right to feel safe in training. There was also an issue around social media. I received a message about not uploading photos or videos from the children’s class, and I apologised, even though I always tried to make sure only my own children were visible. However, seeing other parents and classes later posting similar content without the same issue being raised felt unfair and inconsistent. As a family of colour, I was left feeling uncomfortable and questioning whether unconscious bias may have played a part in how we were treated. I cannot say for certain, but that is honestly how the experience made me feel. We were always respectful. We gave Christmas and Easter gifts, showed up for St. Patrick’s parade, supported the club, and valued the discipline and respect that martial arts is meant to teach. That is why this experience has been so disappointing. I have also contacted the coach regarding certificates my children earned through their months of training, and I have not received a proper response. Just no response at all. After all the hard work, consistency, and commitment my children showed, this feels very disrespectful. Overall, I left feeling that my children were not appreciated, respected, protected, or properly supported. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend this club.
