Phil Clark's Martial Arts is a great place to learn and grow as a kid or an adult.
Dropped in to train while in the area for work. Everyone was very welcoming and the coaches were professional. Had some good rolls and learned some new techniques. Thank you for the hospitality!

My 6 yr old has a fun time. He's super hyper and loves the energy of class. Only wish the classes were an hour instead of 30 mins for lil ppl. Other than that been having a great time even tho he don't listen well.
Amazing experience, my son just started there he is only 3 and they are so patient and kind. I am so happy to have found this place.
Nice welcoming atmosphere, Phil is a very experienced martial artist and great instructor. Very good school!
Today was my fiancée and son's first day. They had a lot of fun! The instructors were all really nice and we will definitely be back!

Our family loves this place. The staff is so friendly and great with our kids. Highly recommend!
From my first day three years ago to now, the staff and fellow students have been kind, encouraging, helpful, and are family to me. Training there and being around the positive atmosphere and people has really changed the way I see thing for the better. By all means check other places out. I'll always recommend Phil Clark's Martial Arts first.
Great facility, instructors, and welcoming atmosphere. 👍🏼
Best people in town, best place to train.
Very nice facility! Wonderful staff ! Great with the kids!
Phil Clark treats the younger students like his own. Great owners, very friendly environment.
So many great things I could say about this place! First, I have to say the atmosphere is always so positive, as Im walking into the gym, I get a boost of self confidence! Mr. & Mrs. Clark makes you feel like family right from the start. Phil kicks my butt into shape! Always great workouts!! I have met some really amazing people here, all of which strive to make you a healthier, better version of yourself!! Thanks for everything!
Absolutely ❤️ Phil Clark’s Martial Arts Academy! My daughter has learned so much in a short amount of time.
My two sons love little dragons karate class
My son has been training with Phil Clark since he was 6 years old, he loves Phil and everyone at this academy, he considers them as family. I consider myself lucky to have found this academy for my son, I highly recommend Phil Clark.
Phil is an amazing instructor, with many good students that are very passionate about their art.
The price was very reasonable and my kids loved it. Everyone was very friendly. I loved the fact that they could train in both Tae Kwon Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Amazing place for kids to train. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Great for adults to train to!!! So glad I chose this one out of all the others!
Great place to go work out.good people lots of fun
Seems to be a good place to learn jujitsu, I will say the open and close times are off. Be sure to check and see if they have a class at the time you are there because right now I’m sitting in the parking lot to locked doors
what a huge disappointment. took an excited and ready 4 yr old for his free trial lil dragons class, and from the reviews i had previously read, expected great things and went prepared to purchase his uniform and pay 3 mths tuition right after the class i was sure he would enjoy. WRONG...from the minute we arrived, it was extremely unstructured and undisciplined to the point that i would not allow him on the floor until teachers arrived because it was a huge class of children running and screaming with no adult supervision. when teachers did finally arrive, a shy 4 yr old tried his best to participate, but with nearly no attention or attempts to make him feel like part of the class or not even asking him his name, he began trying to respond to commands given that had no meaning to him given at a level not developmentally appropriate for the age group. after spending the first half of the class desperately trying to do as told, his building lack of confidence due to the worst teaching methods i have ever seen, and the total lack of structure, discipline, and respect being enforced, resulted in him becoming shy and standing away from the class and no attempt was made to include him or draw him in, and he ended up in tears. he became so upset, and left the floor and one of the teachers left to go to the office, i went and asked her if she could please draw him into the class, and stated my concerns, she told me she had been busy helping another child, and told me she was the owners wife in totally unapologetic and definitely unwelcoming terms. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER subject a child to what i saw there. nothing they advertise they are teaching is being taught such as self confidence and discipline and respect....it was such a traumatic experience that a 4 yr old cried himself to sleep. SHAMEFUL AND IRRESPONSIBLE, and entirely to large of a class for 2 inexperienced young instructors and one highly disinterested owners wife. would not recommend this place to anyone, not only for this reason, but the constant unchecked running and screaming during class was an accident waiting to happen. the only thing of appeal to him was the dragon uniform, and i felt brokenhearted that he was not able to leave with one and get signed up that evening because of the total disaster of the free class that was advertised as so welcoming. BIG LAUGH. so we bought him a dragon tee shirt, and will look for a school with some structure and with instructors with the ability to teach to preschoolers, and to assist shy children, or at least explain to them the terms they are barking at them. dont take your preschooler here unless you are looking for a cheap babysitter and dont care if they are allowed to run amok for a half hour or be excluded altogether. i have been to many martial arts studios, and what i saw here appalled me. may be fine for adults, but not the place for small children to learn anything of any benefit. thank goodness it was free, but it still was not worth the trauma the class was to a 4 yr old and his grandparents. my son is a teacher and i am a psychologist, and there is nothing developmentally appropriate in their teaching methods for the lil dragons. we will look elsewhere, and will suggest to everyone else we know that they avoid this place at all costs unless they want to cause great trauma for their preschooler.
