I train here for Brazilian jiu jitsu, and it is amazing! The coaches really care about making sure your technique is correct. Higher belts are there to help you get better too. There are so many options for classes! I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a place to learn BJJ. They have classes for other forms of self defense as well!

NKYMAA and the Para Bellum BJJ program are more than just a gym and training group…it’s a family. Scott Smith runs a top notch facility with an incredible culture. I cannot recommend NKYMAA enough.

Dropped in for a morning class while I was in town. Coach Matt was very welcoming and ran a great class. Nice facility and great instruction. Will certainly plan on dropping in again when I’m in town next.

Dropped into an open mat while out of town for a wedding. Everyone was super welcoming. The gym, mats, and locker room was well kept and clean. 10/10 recommend if you’re in Cinci or NKY.

It's hard to say enough good things about this place. Great instruction, extremely welcoming, excellent schedule. I have visited just about every BJJ gym in the Cincinnati area, but I picked this one to be my home. No regrets.
