I have been involved with the Martial Arts world for close to 30 years and PCA is by far the best place I have ever trained. Professor Brenda has multiple belts, in multiple styles, with multiple degrees and is one of the most knowledgeable people I know. She has trained since her youth, and was a science teacher, so her knowledge is remarkable. PCA is home to multiple World Champions (including Professor Brenda) who also help instruct. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am training here. There is a space here for everyone, of all ages, from 3 years old through 80 years and above. You can choose to focus on one area (Kali, Boxing, Kick Boxing, BJJ Gi and No Gi, Womens Self Defense and plenty more), or all of the areas for one flat fee, and Professor Brenda has the incredible talent to combine them all to make sure you stay fit, active, educated, engaged, challenged and empowered.

Professor Brenda is the best kid's BJJ coach! Full of energy, detail oriented, discipline the kids, pay a lot of attention to safety. My son loves Professor Brenda so much. Also, I myself start to drop in Friday openmat sometimes, which is open to the public,. Professor Brenda is very welcoming to everyone. She and Professor Sal always give good instruction no matter if you are a gym member here. If I have time to train regularly, I really wish I can join the gym. The gym is very spacious and clean. There's enough space for takedowns in spar, while some other smaller gyms only allow to spar starting from the ground because of the limited space. Highly recommend!

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Professor Brenda King for the past two years, and she has been absolutely fantastic. Her teaching style truly resonates with me. She communicates clearly and effectively with both students and fellow instructors. She has a great ability to command attention, maintain structure, and still keep classes engaging and fun. The academy itself is top-notch, featuring a spacious mat area, heavy bags, and a dedicated space for MMA sparring. Beyond the impressive facility, the other coaches and the welcoming community are what truly make this place special. Whether you’re beginning your martial arts journey or have been training for years, you’ll find excellent instruction and genuine camaraderie here. I highly recommend this academy for both individuals and families interested in martial arts.

Pacific Combat Arts Academy is an incredibly welcoming place to train—perfect for women who’ve wanted to try martial arts but avoided the typical aggressive gym atmosphere. The academy is led by a highly skilled woman with an impressive lineage, having trained under Dan Inosanto. Her teaching style is supportive, precise, and empowering. Classes include JKD, Filipino martial arts like Kali, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and boxing, all taught with excellent, ego-free methods that focus on real technique and personal growth. If you want a safe, friendly, and confidence-building place to start your martial arts journey, this is it. Highly recommended. I can't remember when I felt so good and empowered.

The establish is huge, clean and an ideal place to train BJJ, Muy Thai and MMA. Clean white walls, fresh blue mats, tall ceilings so it doesn’t get too hot. Brenda the instructor has decades of expertise and experience and is very welcoming! She has amazing black belts like Pedro and Sal to teach and guide new students. There is ample parking and it is wheelchair accessible, I highly recommend! 🥳
