I’ve been training here for about a year now with my teenage kids as well, both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. The Muay Thai coach is Tom Weeks and the Jiu Jitsu coach is Max Campos, both are terrific coaches with a passion for their sport. The gym managers, James and Yas, are also very friendly and helpful. My only ask is to “update” the Muay Thai area; the mats are very old and worn down and people (usually parents and kids) frequently walk through the area with shoes on or use it as a play area. Overall though, a great gym and good value for money and a friendly environment for old and younger people… but with serious training.
Posted 6 months agoRecently joined Muay Thai but Boxing seems to be the main sport they care about. The Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai coaches are brilliant I just wish management would sort all the kids and parents out using the Muay Thai area like it’s a back yard… Running around in dirty shoes and throwing pads around
Posted 6 months agoThe main boxing trainer is always on his phone and is not teaching the students. Also, he only wants you to box his style.
Posted 1 month agoMuay Thai very good but people have to stop to walk through the Muay Thai area wearing they shoes and let they kids play on equipment
Posted 6 months agoThe boxing classes held by Lesley Sackey and the team have been nothing short of amazing!
