Hannnah and Eddie are absolutely incredible instructors. They were so welcoming and supportive. I am a new student to there school and everyone was super nice which is rare when your a new student at a school. Furthermore, there classes were very helpful. We drilled, did positional sparring and then open rolls. Advance and beginner classes were happening at the same time so if your new your lessons will be slightly more tailored for you. Nonetheless, the community at Oregon Grappling Arts is just absolutely beautiful. I recommend all women and men come to this school. So blessed to have met Hannah and Eddie Osss 🤙🏽
Posted 1 year agoWas in the area and dropped in at the women’s only class. This gym is SO welcoming, and the instructor, Hannah, was great. I first met her at a nogi summit and specifically dropped by because she was so attentive and approachable during her lesson! I’m glad I got to learn from her again and meet the team they’re building here. They also have a shower on site 🙌. I hope i can visit again! Thank you
Posted 1 year agoI've been lucky enough to train with Hannah and Eddie for almost a decade now. On top of being incredible teachers, practitioners, and competitors they've built an amazing home for jiu jitsu students at OGA. The community is extremely welcoming, safe, collaborative, and flat out fun... regardless of skill level or the various students' aspirations with BJJ. Cannot recommend OGA more highly. Come train!
Posted 1 year agoOGA has totally changed my life. Getting to learn and roll with the lovely, dedicated, humble humans in this gym is the most fun I've ever had. Coaches Hannah and Eddie make all beginners feel welcome and safe, while being able to participate in drills and rounds. I've learned an incredible amount in my time at OGA, and made some awesome friends along the way. Oregon Grappling Arts is the best place for women's BJJ! >^.^
Posted 1 year agoAs a brand new grappler, and someone new to martial arts in general, I could not have chosen a better gym. Hannah and Eddie are both excellent teachers and have created an environment that is safe and welcoming. I always feel like I'm getting the personal attention needed to make my experience great, and I'm so thankful for all the support I've gotten from them and from other members—it really is a community of great people. If you're at all interested in jiu jitsu or grappling like I was, please, give it a try, and try it at Oregon Grappling Arts. I promise you'll have so much fun.
