Environment in oldskool jiu jitsu is lovely. Makes you work hard and you learn alot yet you still have fun moments. The people are lovely and very helpful especially if your a beginner . The coach Deggie is a very good guy and is a great teacher. Overall wouldn’t want to train anywhere else.
Great place for Bjj nice community especially for beginner. You would fit right in.

Awesome gym and awesome atmosphere! Very welcoming for all levels. As a black belt myself I cannot recommend this gym enough! Deggie makes everyone feel welcome.
From my first lesson i was made welcome by all the team I felt A really friendly family orientated atmosphere The instructor has a simplified way of explaining techniques which are easy to understand He is also very encouraging Look forward to keep training here Brian ❤️💪🏽😎

I have been going to OldSkool Jujitsu for over a year now and can say that Deggie is an amazing instructor, a wealth of knowledge in the art of Brazilian Jujitsu and will push you keep motivated. The atmosphere is great and everyone is welcoming, great place to train 💪
I joined this club a month ago with a big goal of becoming an amazing jiu-jitsu player and becoming a black belt, and this club has really been helping me achieve this goal. Deggie is an amazing coach with a great club and I highly recommend joining this club over Gracie Barra and all the other clubs, it’s cheap and affordable, it’s very much worth joining this club , OSS 💪🏻
Good atmosphere, coach is funny and knows what hes talking about, I like how he carries on with teaching techniques in the next lesson, competitive but friendly peers, very cheap for bjj, bit small sometimes though. Also Dawid is a very cool guy 😎
Posted 2 years agoGreat coaching, club and atmosphere. I have been coached by Rich for many years from a beginner all the way up to my current level. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn jiu-jitsu.
Posted 3 years agoDeggie is an amazing jiu jitsu instructor who's able to ensure every session is informative, practical and fun. Diggie has been able to create an amazing atmosphere and build great relationships between all members of the club. Would definitely recommend.
Posted 4 years agoHad my first ever lesson on Saturday and was very impressed. Having never done anything like this before I was quite nervous however, felt comfortable straight away. No egos or an uncomfortable atmosphere. Very friendly. I learnt so much in just one lesson and had an amazing workout. Would definitely recommend this place. Cannot wait for my next lesson!
Posted 4 years agoThis is an excellent place to train whether you are just starting out or experienced in BJJ. It has the OldSkool element of the original Gracie BJJ. Rich is an excellent coach and has a vast knowledge in both GI and NoGI and has a proven track record of coaching winners
