I saw only good feedback for New Wave Jiu Jitsu, so I took my son for a couple of trial classes and I've seen enough for my heart to be content with this place. The positive reviews are well-warranted. Zoran, Chris, and (I believe) Daniel are the three instructors I have seen in action and they are amazing. They are very positive, supportive, and encouraging, as are the students that I was able to meet. They were also flexible with a couple of special needs that we have. I'm thankful to God that I came across this place, and I am completely comfortable entrusting these good people with my son. Very highly recommended if you're a positive person and you're ready to sweat!
Posted 2 years agoI have been training here for about a year now. Simply put, this is a gym full of awesome people. The coaches are phenomenal and will take care of you, plus there is a variety of skilled training partners to learn from and practice with as well. Come to one class and it will speak for itself. I would recommend training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to anyone, but especially women, & definitely at this gym. The more you go the better you feel, and the more fun it gets as you learn. Embrace being a beginner, stick with it, and you will be satisfied here. 😊💪
Posted 2 years agoChris & Zoran are outstanding teachers and run an excellent program. Great group of classmates to learn with. I felt comfortable going to my first classes as a total beginner and I can see how the training and skills progress with time and effort. 5/5, highly recommended!
Posted 2 years agoChris and Zoran provide a very comfortable and a structured environment to learn jiu jitsu, for all levels. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to learn the art form.
