I absolutely love this place! It is fun for the whole family. I decided to sign my son up and then I ended up signing up and taking g the women’s empowerment class. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely love sharing their passion of karate and Jiu-Jitsu with beginners.. I would absolutely recommend Norfolk Academy for children and adults.
Posted a week agoThis is such a special place and for all walks of life. I was fortunate enough to train here for nearly 6 years. The staff is top notch and very warm and welcoming. From the front desk, to the instructors, all the way to the owner. They make it so easy to walk in and see what the place is all about. No matter what you're looking for. Whether it's for self defense, to build confidence, or to simply having a great time learning the arts and making friends. The place is clean, has changing rooms and everything you'll need to train for karate or jiu-jitsu. Whether you're a kid or a grandparent they have fun, safe classes to fit your needs. Not to mention the best training partners you could ask for. The Norfolk Karate Academy has done so much for so many people. This is a really magical place and I'm so glad places like this exist.
Posted 5 months agoI'm 61 with old injuries. Started training in chesapeake with coach Ian. He has been outstanding to train with. I've also had the pleasure to train briefly with coach Larry. Awesome experience. Everyone has been very helpful. If a broken old man can do it, so can you. Thanks for putting up with me. Nothing but love for these guys. Let's roll baby
Posted 7 months agoI recently attended a John Danaher seminar here and I was received with open arms and the biggest smiles. Very friendly staff. Walking the room constantly helping everyone. I can tell these guys run a top notch facility. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to visit again!!!
