Few months into my BJJ journey and happy Nirvana is the place I'm starting at. Adam has been a patient and knowledgeable coach. He fosters a safety first environment while challenging us to explore the martial art to the best of our abilities.

I have been training at Nirvana since October 2024 and it is has been an excellent experience. Coaching is top notch and the community is great - everyone is positive, cares about eachother, and tries their best. I look forward to going each day!

Started taking Muay Thai here back in February and I'm addicted! It's an excellent gym with a fantastic community. No posturing or pressure, just good people looking to learn and train and have fun. Adam and Dave are great coaches, and set the tone for a welcoming culture. I definitely recommend coming down!

I came to this gym with 0 previous experience in BJJ, or any martial art, and Nirvana, and Adam's coaching made me feel right at home. Not only do I feel like I learned fast, but the welcoming environment helped me develop a love for the sport and basically launched my journey into learning jiu jitsu.

I've been training jiu jitsu for years at a gym that's pretty far from my home in Melrose, so when I saw a new spot had opened up here in town, I had to give it a try. Long story short, it's a great gym! Adam, the owner, is very skilled at jiu jitsu, but even more importantly, he's very skilled at teaching jiu jitsu (the two don't always go hand in hand). I've learned a lot from him in just a few classes. There are a lot of white belts who have signed up and Adam takes real care in helping them learn the fundamentals correctly, but he's also able to get into the fine points of technique with the more experienced grapplers. Highly recommend training here! If you're thinking about it, just go for it!
