  My son has been attending Nippon for over 3 years taking part in Ju jit su and Kickboxing on a Saturday. He also has classes at school and has recently started going to the Monday night sessions because he enjoys it so much. He absolutely loves it all, the sensei’s and senpai are always knowledgeable and supportive and do a great job in maintaining discipline and behaviour which are key parts of the sport. They’re excellent at tailoring support depending on children’s needs. The guidance they provide helps the children develop in the dojo and as they mature and navigate growing up. The club has great facilities for those taking part and those who spectate, the Brew Jit Su has something for everyone and sensible prices. The pay as you train model is brilliant, we try not to miss sessions but inevitably it happens but you don’t lose out if you miss. The classes are very reasonably priced. The grading structure gives realistic target points to aim for and achieve and are great for showcasing the participating students achievements. Above all else the owners aren’t running a martial arts club, they are providing a safe, clean and supportive place for children and adults to develop, have fun and build lasting friendships! Couldn’t recommend it more to anyone starting out, getting back into it or looking for a new place to train. Go to Nippon you won’t regret it!

  I can’t thank the team at Nippon UK Jiu Jitsu enough for how welcoming they’ve been to my daughter, Faye. She’s just had her first grading, moved up a belt, and really surprised herself by pushing through her nerves. She’s had such a great time and grown in confidence already. Special thanks to Katheryne for helping me organise a uniform as a birthday surprise — it made Faye’s day extra special. All the senseis, both in regular classes and at today’s grading, have been brilliant. It genuinely feels like a big family, and I’m so glad Faye is now part of it.

  Nippon has been the most amazing experience and place for my 8 and 10 year old. It is a very friendly and welcoming environment to be in. Everyone there are encouraging and supportive of all children. My two children have been going to jujitsu for over a year and they love it so much. Their confidence has grown, not only on the mat but everywhere else too. My son is autistic and the routine and repetitive nature of the moves has helped him learn the skills quickly, it helps massively with his sensory regulation. They have lots of classes, not just jujitsu, and they have classes for all ages including adults! Thank you Nippon ☺️ you’ve really made a difference!

  Nippon UK Preston dojo has been fantastic for my daughter’s self-assurance, listening skills and focus. The Senseis are all incredibly dedicated and supportive. For her birthday, she requested a jujitsu party, Sensei Katheryne went above and beyond in organising an unforgettable party (even sourcing girly ninja bunting which was a huge hit). Senseis Caleb and Luke were phenomenal with the children, balancing fun and learning perfectly. We are so grateful to the entire team for their warmth and dedication. Thank you for making her birthday so special!
