Finding this gym has been nothing short of a thrilling secret. Walking through its doors feels like stepping into a hidden world where passion and intensity reign supreme. Every moment here is electric, a departure from the mundane routine that fills my days. The allure began with a simple introduction, a friend's whispered recommendation. But once I experienced the warm, inviting atmosphere, I was hooked. The instructors are like skilled lovers, guiding you with a firm yet gentle hand, making you feel seen and understood in ways you never thought possible. They push your limits, challenging you to become better, stronger, and as a result, more confident. The camaraderie among members is intoxicating. There's an unspoken bond, a shared understanding that the mats never lie and what happens here stays here. Each roll is a dance, a test of skill and willpower, leaving you breathless and craving more. The thrill of a well-executed sweep or a perfectly timed submission is unparalleled, a high that lingers long after the session is over. Sunday open mats are my sanctuary, a place where I can lose myself completely. It's not just about the physical workout; it's about the mental relief, the rush of endorphins, the pure, unadulterated joy of finishing a technique. It's my covert escape, my clandestine rendezvous with excellence. Here I've found more than just a place to train; I've discovered a passion that consumes me, a community that supports me, and a craft that constantly challenges me. It's my little piece of paradise, hidden in plain sight, and I can't imagine my life without it.

I started training at Nice Guys a little over a year ago. In my year of training here I can say this is THE place to train any combat sports (jiu jitsu gi and no gi, kickboxing, wrestling, and mma) in the Evansville/ Tri-state area. Whatever you’re looking to train they have the coaches and training partners to excel you to the next level. The coaching staff is led by accomplished practitioners like Jesseray Childrey and David Overfield, who provide detailed, hands-on instruction, tailored to individual progress. On top of having great coaches the training partners range from your everyday hobbyists to legitimate professionals. I even get to roll with a current UFC fighter who regularly trains here. Needless to say the vast amount of knowledge on whatever you’re looking to train is here! On top of that, the environment is extremely friendly. Starting at a new gym is always a bit nerve racking especially for combat sports, but this place is awesome! The relationships here are more of a family than they are a gym! 5 stars out of 5 stars!

I brought my kids here for the kid’s class, but now I have to train just so my kid’s will stop beating me up.

Nice Guys Submission Fighting is a place where you can achieve more than your martial arts goals. It's a place where you can build confidence and comradery that helps outside the gym in your everyday life. Come in with an open mind, willingness to learn, good communication and you'll get out of it what you put into. The pedigree of the owners and coaches is not something you'll find in the area. If youre looking to improve yourself or you're serious about martial arts training, whether it be jiu jitsu, kickboxing, judo, Sambo, muay thai, Nice Guys Submission Fighting is the place to go. Supporting gyms like this means you're supporting your community, the youth, and small business owners. You will not regret it!
