Next Level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Milton Keynes offering classes for adults and kids. The academy is led by Samir Medjbeur, a third-degree black belt with over 20 years of martial arts experience.
Samir has over 20 years experience of Jiu-Jitsu and is a third degree Black Belt under the tutorage of Tony Eduardo Lima of Next Level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Samir is known for his technical abilities and has competition experience including Bronze in the European Jiu-Jitsuu Championship in 2011. He has also trained all over the world and previously taught in China.
My older daughter has been attending Next Level BJJ for just under 3 years and the younger one over a year and half. Samir and the team of coaches have been amazing and encouraging since day 1. Not only have my daughters learned self-defence, they have gained much more... - it boosted their self-confidence and resilience, - their mental focus under stress when placed with challenging sparring partners, -show respect to others, no matter the age, gender, height, or strength differences. -and worked on their self-discipline which I see them apply in real-life situations. The entire coaching staff are brilliant with the kids, encouraging but disciplined, ensuring at all times they are aware of the fun to be had with BJJ, but also the inherent risks. We met Samir in 2016 when my 2 sons started BJJ class and we are very happy with the choice we made, Samir was a good trainer and a good friend to us, the way he teaches the kids is both fun and disciplined.
