We couldn’t be happier with this kickboxing club. My son trains twice a week, and the progress he’s made has been incredible—not only in his martial arts skills but also in his confidence. All of the staff are fantastic. They really get to know each child as an individual and know exactly how to encourage and challenge them to bring out their best. The positive atmosphere they create is amazing. The biggest difference I’ve noticed is how excited my son is every time he walks through the doors. As soon as he steps onto the mat with the instructors, he has a real spark and buzz about him. He genuinely loves every session, and it’s wonderful to see him growing in confidence week after week. I would highly recommend this club to any parent looking for a supportive, motivating, and professional martial arts school for their child.
This place is wonderful. The staff are so caring and dedicated, my son who has some SEN needs has been going to dojo for 4 years and loves it, he’s not only enjoying the martial arts but has grown so much in confidence too. Certainly a hidden gem!
I have twins that started at Total Dojo about a year ago. We were a bit worried about the boys doing a combat class but Total Dojo has been amazing for them. They have settled in and it’s something they don’t moan about doing every week. Both boys are on the SEN registry and we thought it may have been an issue but we were wrong. They have received the right amount of support and weekly challenge to do better each week. I would fully recommend Toal Dojo if you want your kids to build ability, fitness and self esteem.
Great place and great people. I’ve trained here myself in the past and looking to come back. Our son trains here twice a week and he loves it. The instructors are really friendly, supportive and understanding. And everyone can have a laugh too which is nice.
My kids love to attend classes here, the instructors are always friendly and welcoming but if they don't participate they are are told to get involved which I like.
Fantastic instructors, welcoming to beginners, friendly group and incredibly knowledgeable. New or old you're welcomed into the family.
Posted 2 years agoTotal Dojo is outstanding. I’ve trained here for a couple of years now and learn something new every session without fail. The breadth of knowledge and experience here is phenomenal, there’s way more to the place than just punching and kicking! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels, no judgement, everyone is keen to help each other get the most out of their training! I’ve never once regretted going here and every time I walk out I feel better than when I walked in.
Posted 4 years agoThe instructors are awesome and everyone I’ve met has been great! Friendly atmosphere, fun learning environment and a fab workout. I highly recommend Total Dojo. I was so nervous about attending but was instantly made to feel welcome and have enjoyed every minute (mostly) :) x
Posted 6 years agoI have been attending training at the total dojo for the last 7 weeks as they are getting me ready for a white collar boxing match and the trainers have made it such a great experience! For someone who hasn't done much exercise for the last 10 years, it has been an eye opener and has made me a stronger person and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The trainers have given me back my confidence and they have been so encouraging and made the sessions a lot of fun as well as making me work hard. They are a great bunch of people and I would thoroughly recommend the total dojo! (It has easy parking as well)
Posted 8 years agoI have a son and daughter who train with Total Dojo. My daughter is also training to be an assistant instructor. They both get a lot out of training, it helps their confidence and fitness. The instructors are great role models for kids and make the lessons fun. I would recommend anyone to get their kids into MMA with them.
Posted 8 years agoThe facility appears good with good offerings for enthusiastic training but unfortunately is not SEN friendly. The staff are not SEN trained and they do not have understanding of this from our experience here.
