We had a fantastic experience at this training center. It’s a wonderful place to bring your child—the coaches truly stand out. They are not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly patient, encouraging, and attentive to each child’s needs. They create a positive and motivating atmosphere where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn and improve. It’s clear they genuinely care about every child’s progress and enjoyment. The environment itself is clean, well-organized, and very welcoming for both children and parents. It’s always a pleasure to visit, and we genuinely look forward to coming back again and again.

I’ve had a great experience training at NWA Croydon. The coaching is top quality; really knowledgeable, approachable, and focused on helping everyone improve, whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced. The atmosphere in the gym is one of the biggest positives. It’s very welcoming and supportive, with a strong sense of community. Everyone is respectful, and there’s a good balance between pushing yourself and keeping things safe. The sessions are well-structured and cover both technique and practical application. You get a lot of live training and useful feedback, which helps build confidence quickly. Facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the class schedule is flexible enough to fit around a busy routine. Overall, a brilliant place to train—would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into BJJ , MMA or any of the other disciplines offered , or take their skills to the next level.

The best place to have your kids and yourself do martial art. NWA teached many discplines so you are spoiled for choice. My son 12 does bjj, kickboxing and mma and my daughter 10 does bjj, I have also been training there for nearly 3 years now. The club has great atmosphere, amazing coaches who have and are competing at a very high level across the various disciplines so you get the best training. Do not think about it, bring your kids and yourself to NWA.

New Wave is one of the friendliest and inclusive MMA gyms I’ve ever joined. The versatility of classes across the branches is fantastic and the coaching team offer different styles to suit every learner. The children’s classes are the best around with many of the kids coaches being gym members also means their passion and dedication to making the young ones enjoy MMA is an innate passion.

I'm loving the vibe at New Wave Academy! 🎉 The coaches are super knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to helping everyone improve, no matter where you're at. The atmosphere's welcoming and motivating, with a real sense of community and respect on and off the mats. Every class is pushing my daughter to grow, not just in jiu-jitsu, but in discipline and confidence too. Big shoutout to the New Wave team for creating such an awesome environment!

I've been training here for over a year and I'm having a really positive experience. The coaches are so friendly and welcoming which shapes the overall environment and atmosphere of the gym. Location is easy to get to and they have a variety of classes throughout the day. I highly recommend this place to everyone, but especially to women who are thinking about starting a martial art.

I've been training here for approximately 6 months and my experience has been great. The gym has a great culture/ atmosphere and is a fantastic place to train. The coaches are great, very friendly and always happy to help. My 5 year old son also attends the kids classes which are fun and engaging while still teaching the kids the required techniques, which is a great balance and he also loves attending.
