I started training at Mountain Division Jiu Jitsu right before Hurricane Helene and that was when I realized what a real community feels like. Even in the middle of so much uncertainty, the coaches and students encouraged me, pushed me, and helped me grow in ways I did not expect. I connected with people who showed up for me and made me feel welcome from the beginning. In January I added Kickboxing and learned even more skills that strengthened me mentally and physically. Mountain Division is a gym where you grow in confidence, discipline, and connection and it is a place that truly changes you for the better.

Mountain Division is an amazing place to train. The level of instruction, real time feedback on your game, and the amazing team of people that are nice, safe, and highly-skilled training partners. The kids program is also really top notch. My son was getting board at our previous gym, and his love for Jiu Jitsu has been totally renewed; we learn new things every week, and the coaches have fun, Jiu Jitsu relevant, skill games. They take coaching kids seriously, and it's a great environment. Couldn't say enough good things about Mountain Division, come check it out!

Mountain Division is an excellent place to learn Jiu Jitsu. The members are supportive, the gym is clean, and Brad is knowledgeable and breaks down movements and positions clearly. Highly recommend for anyone serious about improving their skills.

We’ve been part of Mountain Division’s kids’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program for over 5 years, and it has been an outstanding experience for our children. Coach Brad and his other instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, creating a positive environment where kids feel both challenged and encouraged. The curriculum is well-structured, focusing on fundamental techniques while also emphasizing discipline, respect, and teamwork. My children have not only learned practical self-defense skills but have also gained confidence, improved focus, and developed better physical coordination. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a good balance of fun and discipline. The classes are structured so that children of all skill levels can progress at their own pace, making it a great fit for beginners as well as those with more experience. Overall, we’ve seen significant improvements in our children’s physical fitness and mental toughness, and we couldn’t be happier with the program. Highly recommend Mountain Division for any parent looking for a quality kids’ Jiu-Jitsu program!

I have been attending Jiu-jitsu classes here for almost 1 year as a newbie beginner, and I have loved every bit of the experience. The classes have great attention to fundamentals for beginners and advanced persons in their Jiu-jitsu journey. The facility has a clean bathroom, cozy lobby, clean well taken care of mats and amazing people to lead the teaching. I have found new confidence in myself as a woman and mom of littles to be able to defend myself against an attacker, and hurt them if need be. I suggest this sport to all my friends, and this gym to anyone looking to start their own journey. Brad is an amazing owner and teacher, along with many others who have taught classes. Family friendly environment, with a lobby and TV and friendly faces. My husband and I both practice Jiu-jitsu here and will be enrolling our 5 & 7 year old kids in their kids classes soon. See you on the mats! - Joanna
