Stopped in while visiting the area, and found a welcoming gym with a knowledgeable instructor. Awesome environment. Would recommend to anyone interested in getting started with Jiu Jitsu. An awesome place to train.

We’ve been attending Moorestown BJJ for a couple weeks now, and I can’t say enough good things about it! My son who is eight years old, absolutely loves the classes. The coach is fantastic with kids, ensuring they learn the techniques in a way that’s both fun and engaging. He has a natural ability to connect with the children, making each class enjoyable while instilling discipline and respect for the art. The facility is spotless and well-maintained, creating a safe environment for the kids to learn and train. Plus, the location is perfect for us, making it easy to get to and from classes without any hassle. I've noticed not only my sons technical skills improving but also his confidence growing each week. BJJ is such an amazing skill for kids to have under their belts, and I’m thrilled that my son is learning it in such a positive atmosphere. I highly recommend MBJJ to any parent looking for a quality martial arts program for their child!

Excellent Brazilian jiu jitsu classes from a top-notch black belt! The facility is very nice and the classes are well run. This is a great place for both kids and adults, whether you've never trained in martial arts before or are a skilled practitioner. Everyone is so nice and supportive here!

There is a genuine camaraderie here. I’ve never felt more comfortable and at home at a gym, where I was welcomed with open arms. Jim Hassett is a truly gifted instructor who is thorough, articulate, patient, and supportive when teaching techniques.

I’m from New Mexico visited multiple guns here. This gym was very technical, professional and welcoming. They make you feel home away from home and treat you like their own. Professor Hassett is extremely skilled and dedicated to his students. Not too many gym owners care about their students progress overall like the way he does anymore. I visited Hassett’s gym in Moorestown while visiting from New Mexico. Jimmy took extra time to help me and more importantly, made me feel like extended family. Whether new to jiu jitsu or a long time practitioner, this gym will make you better!

Jim is an wonderful instructor. He is kind, clear with instructions and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Coming here has been an excellent experience for my son. The team atmosphere, support and comradely among the students is amazing. They all care about each other and push each other to excel.

I was looking for a proactive way for my son to deal with his emotions and stumbled across Hassett’s Moorestown. Jim has been incredible since the very beginning. My son has learned patience, tolerance and gained emotional stability through jiujitsu. I’m glad he has something to look forward to weekly.

I was very impressed with how this school taught my son the comfortablity. The way Jim teaches an no favoritism. This made my boy wana train 5 times a week not like karate for 5 years making him go . the other parents were very proper and polite an older students also the way it should be

This place is one of the best schools in the area, a very friendly and welcoming group of people. The instruction itself is top tier. Jim Hasset offers a wealth of knowledge from Jiu Jitsu to scholastic wrestling. Very good place to train!!

Owner and head instructor, Jim Hassett, at Moorestown Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has created an overall great learning environment. Each session and every week is clearly and thoughtfully planned out, assuring noticeable progress at any level. After completing my trial membership, and signing up my goal was to attend 2 times a week, with hopes of eventually grasping a few self defense concepts. About 7 weeks in I am attending class 4-5 times weekly, Iv accidentally lost about 8 pounds, the fundamentals of BJJ are beginning to click, and I look forward to ending each day with challenging of completing a class.

I have known Jim for over 20 years. Jim is one of the most well rounded Jiu Jitsu guys I know. He has been involved with Jiu Jitsu since he was a kid. He has a great lineage with his brother John Hassett, and many other top Jiu Jitsu Instructors in the Country! If you are looking for a dedicated place to train or have your kids train, this is the place to be!
