Joining this grappling club has truly been a life-changing experience for me. As someone who had never grappled before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from day one, I was welcomed with open arms. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about helping everyone improve, regardless of skill level. The atmosphere here is amazing—everyone is supportive, and there’s a real sense of camaraderie that pushes you to be your best. I’ve not only grown physically stronger but also gained confidence and discipline that have carried over into other areas of my life. I can honestly say I love this place, and I’m grateful for the journey it has started me on. Whether you’re a beginner like I was or someone with experience, this gym will challenge and inspire you. If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t hesitate—it might just change your life too.

I got to drop in here and I'm glad I did. Relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable instructor. I personally got some great insights from the instructor that I think will really help me improve. They are doing a lot of cool different things. Personalized goal oriented training. They've made an app that gives ELO scores for matches based on ride time spent in a dominant position and everyone who uses the app is ranked in the population. Can't wait to see how this place has grown when I visit again. I'd sign up here if I lived here.

My family has moved around a bit (military) so I’ve trained at a few gyms. Mission Grappling Club is the best. When I started at MGC I was in a bit of a training slump. The folks at MGC effortlessly got me back on track, somehow always knowing exactly what coaching I needed. My training has never felt so purposeful. The owners are kind with well calibrated moral compasses making for a welcoming, safe, and professional training environment. Words can’t accurately describe how wonderful this gym is. You really have to experience it for yourself.

Talked with the owner- seems like a very cool guy. They're still working out kinks but I'm Super Excited to start training with them soon! This is one of the very best things a young man (or old one like me) can do with their time, so I really hope it takes off!
