Originally brought my son in to get him ways to expend his energy. And then my daughter because I wanted her to learn self-defense. And then me, because I saw that what you can learn from this place goes beyond fitness and techniques. I love watching my kids during their classes, it’s really neat seeing them grow in so many different areas and aspire to become all around good humans. It’s a family owned business that has built a tight knit strong community around it. People are very nice and helpful, I recommend it to all levels of martial artists!

This martial arts studio is amazing. Both of my kids and I have trained here for more than 5 years, and I can tell you that it's unique - the Uribes truly care about the students, their experience, and their growth. Leadership/instructor meetings always focus on "making it feel like Disneyland" for the students, and that focus really comes through in the way the students (both child and adult) are treated and trained. The curriculum is varied, fun, and engaging and applied at a level that's individual for each student and their rank and age. If you or your kids want to sweat, grow, and/or make new friends in a fun environment, EWMMA is the right place.

This place is the best. The family that runs it is amazing and they are great teachers. The other instructors are top-notch as well.

For the past 20 years, my family has had the privilege of training with the Uribe family at their martial arts school. Their program is both challenging and supportive, fostering personal growth and discipline in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. We wholeheartedly recommend their program to anyone looking to begin or continue their martial arts journey.

In 2017 after watching Kung-Fu-Panda, my then 4 year old daughter wanted to be a ninja warrior. Little did we know that the whole family would also eventually become martial arts students that year. We enrolled at East West MMA after visiting other dojos. The family oriented atmosphere, structure, and method of training sold us. They teach you the value of working hard to earn your belts. It's been a journey that I, personally as an adult, thought I would never experience. There is always something new to learn. If I were to be asked again, now in 2024, I would have enrolled and done it all over again. If anyone in your family wants to learn martial arts. This is definitely the place to go!
