I came here on a layover while in Sioux Falls and had a great drop in. I messaged the owner about dropping in and he promptly responded within an hour to let me know I was more than welcome. I highly recommend checking out this gym if you are in the area. I could tell these guys were extremely passionate about jiu jitsu and the vibes reflected that.

I just took my first begginer class tonight and it was awesome. Very family oriented and approachable. The areas were clean and well organized. The instructors have a good knack for breaking techniques down so they are digestable. I also appreciated the private women's changing room and kids area. The kids area had toys and a little TV to watch movies on. 100% will be back next week to see what else I can learn.

Great gym overall! With only having wrestling experience before, I was able to adapt quickly into the art of jiujitsu with the help of everyone here. Instructors and students are very patient and always more than willing to roll and show you useful tips/techniques. Clean and extremely chill environment with a solid set of members!

Misfits is great! It has some fantastic people, great vibe, and the people their are very helpful!!! I have trained here now for over two years!!! We have the best vibe, the best winning percentages, the #1 competitor in the area, and a brand new space to train as of June 2024!!!! Misfits is growing and it's a great time to be part of the club!!! If you're looking for an environment in which you can safely and comfortably train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, look no further. PLUS!!!! South Dakota's only nogi Jiu-Jitsu Club!!!!

Started attending classes at this gym with no prior experience with jiujitsu or any type of grappling sport. Despite it being intimidating starting out, Sawyer and everyone else I've met here has been more than willing to help me get the most out of the classes and answer any questions I have had!

Such a great community!! The team and gym are so knowledgeable and welcoming! It doesn’t feel like someone who is new or someone that has been out of the gym for years is an outsider.

I only got to visit this place once cause I was moving and forgot to leave a review saying how great it is. First off, a solid group to train with is the most important thing of all. This place has that. You're no stranger here. For training they were. Little ahead of me but that's just because they were half way through a certain program on the bight I came to visit so that's cool. P.S. To whoever that girl is that I put Ina can opener a few times, I am so sorry. I had never actually wrestled a girl before and didn't even think of why that wouldn't be OK. It didn't hit me until a few days later and I checked with my wife and she got me up to speed. So yeah, I'm really sorry and I learned something that day and you handled it super well. 👍 Stay sharp y'all. Totally would be training there if I still lived there.

I was in town visiting friends and dropped in to train. The atmosphere there is awesome. I was so impressed with Sawyers instruction during class I took a couple private lessons. Well worth it. Everyone there was eager and passionate about bjj. Definitely my go to spot when I'm in town. If you're interested in learning about bjj in Sioux Falls this is the spot.
