We love our gym family. That is exactly what MTT is. Family like atmosphere where everyone is friendly . They offer boxing. Muay tai. Ju jitsu. Fitness. Strength classes . As well as physical therapist. Personal trainers and open gym. Coaches and gym owners that are awesome and want to help you succeed . Coaches of all disciplines are very knowledgeable and able to help no matter your skill level. This is the type of place where you make life long friendships. Everyone supports each other. Have had several members. Coaches annd the owners attended graduations and competitions. Proving it’s not just about gym life. At the same time sculpt amazing fighters and lifters. We have some high ranking amateur and some pro fighters of all disciplines that train with us. A lot of medals. Belts and competitions have been won by our members. We joined the family little over 7 years ago. My oldest daughter started in boxing few. Did that for. Few years and loved learning how to fight. She eventually had to get a job and schedule changed so she switched to fitness and strength classes. She had to step away for military deployment but still uses all the skills she has been taught at MTT to continue effective trading at her base. My second daughter started with boxing as well . Then eventually wanted to try fitness and strength training. Here is where the coaches saw her true potential and helped thrive. She has been on the podium for CrossFit competitions a few times. Won a few of them. With some personal programming and private sessions she did the CrossFit open last year and ranked 82nd in the world. Amazing feat at the age of 15. MTT has helped her become incredibly strong and confident. After he last competition she decided she wanted to try Ju jitsu to put her strength to test in different ways. Thanks to those coaches she is doing awesome in there too. My son also started in boxing did it for few years but after watching a few classes recently I could see that his heart wasn’t in boxing . So he decided to give kids ju jitsu and try. He quickly loved the sport and goes to class excitedly every day that it’s offered. Had already entered his first competition and got bronze medal. Recently my youngest daughter attended her brother first competition and started wrestling her cousins soon after. So we decided to let her take a free class and see how she liked it. She is 6years old. Coaches were super nice and gentle with her . Kids classes have 2 coaches per class . So was awesome that one of the coaches at all times were breaking things down slowly so she could catch on. That’s all it took. She now absolutely loves it as well and has gone to as many classes as she could and was disappointed the days that we had evening plans and couldn’t go or the days that a kids class isn’t offered. Lastly there is me. I’m 40 years old. Started in boxing as well. Loved learning the sport. Sparring and getting some aggression out on the many heavy bags I did boxing for 3 years. But decided I wanted to build muscle mass so I also joined fitness and strength training. Have come a long way . Built a good amount of muscle and hit lots of personal lifting records If you made it this far I clearly got your attention. Minnesota top team is incredible. Has done so much for our family in and out of the gym. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend stopping in checking us out and giving your first free class a try!! You won’t regret it!
Posted 2 months agoWhat a great experience! I've had the pleasure of stopping by for the first time recently and I had a great time training with some new faces. Everyone was super friendly and a great roll (even though I'm from WI!). I'd totally recommend stopping by for the open mat (which I went to). I'm super thankful that they allow non-members to stop by for those - helpful for a broke college student. Definitely looking forward to coming back when I'm around!
Posted 1 month agoI can't say enough about how much I love this place. I have been coming here for a couple of years, primarily for boxing but also some Crossfit, and deciding to go to my first class was one of the best choices I've ever made. I was nervous at first, having never done boxing, but I was hooked after the first time. The coaches, the employees, other gym goers - everyone is so supportive and friendly, and it's just a fun place to work out. Every coach I have taken a class with, in any discipline, clearly cares about making sure we all learn and improve, and anyone from beginners/casuals to high level competitors will find what they're looking for here. Highly, highly recommend.
Posted 7 months agoI’m 41, and I’ve been going to MTT since February 2025—and I’ve never felt healthier in my life. I started with the daily work classes just 1–2 days a week, but now I’m there 4–5 days because I love it. There’s absolutely no pressure to join, but the coaches are so friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive that you’ll want to keep coming back. The members are just as welcoming—encouraging you in the best way possible. It’s the kind of “peer pressure” that inspires you to compete not against others, but with yourself, pushing to be better, healthier, and to have fun doing it. The gym has an incredible mix of ages, body types, and fitness levels. Many gyms claim to be “no judgment,” but MTT doesn’t just say it—they prove it every day through their actions. If you can’t do a particular exercise, there’s always a scaled version available—and if that’s still too much, there’s a scaled version of the scaled version! With early morning, midday, and evening classes, it’s easy to fit MTT into your schedule. It’s a place that supports both your physical and mental health, and for me, it’s become one of my favorite places to be. They offer different membership packages, family discounts, and even free trial classes so you can try the Workout of the Day, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or boxing. TL;DR: Free first class, truly no-judgment gym, amazing coaches, and fun people to work out with.
Posted 6 months agoI'm coming from the from the boxing side so Saint Paul currently in non competitive. At the same time Top Team is competitive and when me and my daughter was getting turned down. By Saint Paul Gyms for sparring, Top Team stepped up. Luca and a young lady gave us sparring, when nobody in Saint Paul would. Hand us our butt but that's what you need. Not fake or fiction, you need something realistic. This is what this Gym gives you with pro boxer like Gavin or elite amateurs like Eddy. Also great coaches like Roy, so if you're near, get over there💯
