We're new here but so far, it's great! I think May really makes the registration process and communication flow, she's very responsive and courteous. Coaches have been great too!
My son join them at first he was struggling but when started Learning he was happy and also help him a lot on he’s Confidence and now he loves it that he told me to put he’s Nice with him too and she love it too ..
My daughter loves coming to MIndset! The entire staff is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. I love how they teach about having a healthy mindset and skills to achieve this. :)

Mindset is a very friend family space to start your journey at BJJ. The coaches and staff are very welcome.... There are classes for all ages (starting at 3 years old). The schedule is also a plus , you can choose classes from Monday thru Monday. I high recommend this academy.
Mindset is a great place for kids, young ones and adults to learn about discipline and Martial arts. Couches are great, they make it fun and motivational.

Mindset Martial arts is a very place to start learn and training in Hayward. The staff are incredible persons to learn and have a community for train. Have different schedules and trainers for you enjoy the time here.

I feel lucky to have found this place to learn and train. I have nothing but praise for the coaches who treat you with respect and patience while supporting you to improve. The atmosphere created by them and my fellow trainees who many are parents of children who also learn here makes me feel safe and motivated to continue to follow my journey into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Loved my time at Mindset gym! Have been practicing BJJ for a couple of months now and coming into mindset was really a step up, loved the culture and team here, and they can definitely expect me back for another round. Parents, beware, they teach their kids Brazillian Jiujitsu very well here at Mindset

Mindset Martial Arts is definitely the place to go if you want to get a serious work out and challenge your body. I took the women's fitness class and it was killer. Not only do you work on cardio with tons of explosive movements (mountain climbers, burpees, jump rope) but you get to release some aggression on the heavy bag or with a sparring partner. The combination of exercises leaves you sweaty, stronger, and most importantly more healthy. It's a really comfortable environment with all women so you won't feel intimidated and everyone in the group comes from a variety of levels. Don't wait on your health goals for 2020, go now!
My son and I have been with Mindset Martial Arts and Fitness since before the name change and move to the location on Mission Blvd. A little added distance and remembering to no longer refer to the School as Maoli proved a tad bit difficult but I'm just trying to be negative at this point because I would follow Coach D and his Staff just about anywhere. YES, they are that good at what they do! We are a Martial Arts Family. From Traditional to Mixed, we embrace and respect it all. My boys and I belong to a few Martial Arts Schools so I have years of experience with the pros and cons on it all. I promise you. Set an appointment to meet with Coach D! Spend 5 minutes and just listen to him. He makes it easy to want to join. If you are still reading this review then you deserve to know that his prices are very competitive. You want to go here, You will love it here, you can afford it, bring your family, make it your place ! See you on that Mat !
Great place to learn martial arts. You can learn brazilian jiu-jitsu, mauy thai, kickboxing and the even have a class for the ladies. The instructor are extremely nice and knowledageble. I have to admit learn martial art was very intimidating since I haven't done it since high school, but the environment is very welcoming and the instructors puts you at ease. If you're thinking about doing mma or just wants to get in shape come see Dave.
Practicing Jiu Jitsu and Kick Boxing here with Coaches David and Manny has changed my whole life. I have lost 30lbs and gained tons of confidence since learning and training here. It is a good family atmosphere and I have gained some lifelong friends. But, most importantly I have learned how to learn. The experience here with Jiu Jitsu has translated into many arenas of my life. I am forever grateful that I found Mindset Martial Arts.
This place is the best family oriented Jijitsu martial arts and first class among championship competitors. There are classes for adults, children, and fitness training. Kick boxing classes for everyone. I love that my son trains here. He can protect himself from bullies and he also knows fighting is not the answer to make our communities better. My kids love coming here for jiujitsu! The coaches are AWESOME as they are very good with the kids. I also started doing it myself. My boys been only doing jiui jitsu for 10 months and they already started going to tournaments and winning gold and silver medals. If you are considering doing jiujitsu for yourself or your kids, this is the place!
The kids jiu jitsu program here is excellent! My daughter has been training here for the last three years and I can't say enough about how great the coaching staff is! Not only are the kids learning great jiu jitsu skills but this program teaches them the value of really being mindful and incorporates things like meditation into the program. Not to mention there is a ladies only fitness class right after jiu jitsu so getting my work out in is convenient. if youre looking for a jiu jitsu gym in the east bay, Mindset is the best!

Mindset Martial Arts & Fitness is amazing. Joined almost a year ago with the intention of coming 1 or 2 times per week. However, the atmosphere and family environment is so welcoming that I find myself there for 6 to 8 classes a week. Coaches motivate you to take it further every day. Love it.
It's an excellent facility and David is a great teacher and coach!
I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I have never been as impressed with a jiu jitsu program than Coach David. Thanks to COVID, I discovered Mindset Martial Arts and Fitness where I train kick boxing too. I was looking for a place we’re I can train hard and improve my self-defense skills. This is for sure worth the money I pay every month.
