Darcio Lira has been great for my family. My kids are learning self-defense, skills, and leadership and confidence. After five months, I decided to step on the mat and train and have never regretted that choice. As a mom, it can be hard to find time to work out, so working out in a place that is family-friendly that my kids love coming to makes it easy.

We’ve had an amazing experience at Darcio Lira BJJ! We have both our kids enrolled and they are incredible with the kids—they truly know how to connect with them and keep them motivated and excited to learn. The students are very well behaved and focused, which is really impressive to see. Beyond the training, there’s such a genuine sense of community here. Everyone feels like family, and it’s clear that Carlos and the team have worked hard to build a positive, supportive environment. Highly recommend!

As a parent, I’m incredibly pleased with Hayward Darcio Lira Jiu Jitsu. The instructors create a positive and disciplined environment that not only teaches my son valuable BJJ skills but also builds his confidence, respect, and focus. It’s rewarding to see him grow both on and off the mat.

My four year old son loves & enjoys coming to class everyday. The trainers and sensio are well versed in getting these young kids to focus ans learn jiu jitsu. They have so much patience for these kids. I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a good fun environment for there kid.

This gym has been a great place for my kids. In the year that we have been going, the instructors have shown great patience and my kids skills have really developed.My wife even started taking classes a few months after the kids started, so it has become a family activity. I recommend this gym for anyone looking to get themselves or their kids involved in jujitsu/self-defense.
