This is a phenomenal gym. I came in with zero experience with wrestling, martial arts, or jiu jitsu, but the crew was immediately welcoming and Matt (the coach) met me where I was at. Everyone who trains here tries to help everyone get better, and they are all humble enough to embrace losses as learning experiences. Plus as a relatively smaller gym, you can get a lot of individualized attention and questions answered. Within weeks I found myself excited every time to get back on the mat, so much that the early wake up call for the morning classes don’t bother a bit.

Professional, fun and patient trainers. They also incorporate creative and playful ways to learn the moves which the kids love!

Since the first day of seeing the facility I knew I was in the right place! After meeting the coach and seeing the compassion he has for this sport and the care he has when teaching it I was hooked! I watched his first class with the kids and I was impressed to say the least. You can really see the care for these kids! The adult class was just as amazing!! Keep up the great work coach!

Great place to train. I have been going for over a year and it has helped me physically and mentally. Great group to train with, and coach Matt works very well with all students. Come check it out.

I started going to MetchenFit for workouts and started learning JiuJitsu earlier this year. Matt is an awesome trainer and lets you go at your own pace as you build up your endurance, which is nice. Once you have your endurance up he motivates and pushes you with new workouts and always has new techniques to train on the mats. So glad I found MetchenFit!
