I’m a 37 year old woman who has trained for about a year and a half. Let me tell you about this gym. You aren’t just a random person until you are an upper belt here. Will loves this sport and it shows with everything he does. He takes a personal interest in every single person who walks through the door. You will hear the words “that would work on a lower belt but it won’t work on me” from so many male upper belts in this sport. Not from Will. He shows you how to perfectly tweak each move to submit an adult black belt because his philosophy is, he isn’t training blue belts or purple belts, he is training future black belts. I have watched him coach through live rounds so many times and his communication style is unmatched. If you are looking to fine tune your game and get out of some bad habits you have formed, it is worth stopping by. He takes so much pride in the maintenance of his gym both hygienically and culturally, you won’t regret making this place a frequent place to train. His kids classes are wonderful as well as they have created a safe environment for kids both on the mats and off the mats to make this a great family activity. If you have been thinking about letting your kids try a martial art, jujitsu is the ultimate parenting hack. I have witnessed so many kids develop a sense of discipline, self confidence and humility through this sport that is unattainable in almost any other activity. There is absolutely nothing to lose in taking advantage of the free trial week but just know, you will be taking a profound first step in creating a healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically. Great work, Will! I can’t wait to see all that Asylum does under your leadership!

Great place. I’ve known the owner and coach for a long time, and there aren’t many people more passionate about what they do. Adult classes and kids classes are both excellent, and it won’t be long before there are so many people here that they’ll need to move to a bigger place. And as you can clearly see from the picture, they also have really good showers.
