I’ve been training at Maple BJJ for a few months now, and honestly, it’s an amazing place. The coaches are top-notch — they really know their stuff, they push you to improve, and they care about everyone’s progress, no matter your level. The community is what makes it special though. Everyone’s super friendly, supportive, and easy to train with. You always leave class feeling like you learned something and got a great workout in. If you’re in Maple or Vaughan and thinking about starting BJJ or getting back into it, I can’t recommend Maple BJJ enough.

Been attending noon classes here as part of my membership at Richmond Hill BJJ. Love the detailed instruction by Max and Arthur. The students here are amazing and welcoming. Looking forward to learning more here.

Maple Jiu Jitsu is the best place to train! Coach Max Li runs an amazing BJJ program, and the gym also offers MMA and wrestling for well-rounded training. The community is welcoming, and the coaching is top-notch. Highly recommend!!

I love the atmosphere at this gym. Everyone is soo friendly and welcoming, but yet competitive and eager to learn together. The coaching is phenomenal, Max and Artur are very skilled at their craft. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and making this sport accessible to our community.

I have been doing martial arts since the age of 9 and I can say with out a doubt, Max Li is one of the most skilled and committed practitioners I've had the pleasure of training with. Opening a gym has been long overdue and whoever chooses to attend his academy is in -excellent- hands in regards to learning a comprehensive, battle tested skill set. Whether you want to compete in sport jiujitsu, level up your grappling skills for mixed martial arts, or just enjoy martial arts from a recreational stand point, Max has you covered.
