My son has been training with Lotus Jiu Jitsu since 2023 and it has and continues to be a solid experience for him and our family. Lotus Jiu Jitsu promotes strong values in community, self defense, diversity, inclusivity and overall respect for each other. Building confident and well rounded individuals. Professor Enrique and Jess are amazing people who care deeply about their students and our community at large.
All 3 of our children really enjoy jiu jitsu classes at Lotus. The instructor is very passionate, dedicated and cares for each kid to improve and learn an important skill in life “self defense” and confidence. They are a great part of the community. We appreciate the classes and would highly suggest to any parent/family!
My 8-year old has been training at Lotus since February 2022, and it’s been an incredible experience! Professor Enrique and Jessica are highly skilled and patient with the kids which makes learning much easier. The atmosphere is welcoming, supportive which encourages students of all skill levels to grow. The community my kid and I have become members of is the cherry on top of an already impressive experience. I highly recommend Lotus to anyone looking to start or continue their jiu-jitsu journey.
Lotus Seattle Jiu Jitsu has been an incredible experience for my 5-year-old daughter and me. Training under Professor Enrique has been such a rewarding journey for both of us—his expertise, patience, and passion for jiu jitsu truly shine through in every class, whether it's an adult class or my daughter's children's class. The dojo is always clean and well-maintained, and the sense of community that we've built has been fantastic. Everyone here has always been respectful, welcoming, and supportive, making it a great environment for learning and growth. I recommend Lotus if you have been a practitioner or just starting your journey
My daughter has been in the school for a year after transferring from another program. This school is very family oriented and always incredible in student care. The school is run by a husband and wife team and both have made my daughter feel very cared for. The professor’s philosophy of teamwork and his attention to each person’s individual journey through jiu jitsu make this school a great place for my teenager to spend 3 days a week. The professor always has time for parents and the way he works with my daughter who is on the spectrum has changed her experience in martial arts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this school to anyone who is looking to challenge themselves in jiu jitsu and who wants to have a better experience than a school that feels for profit only.
Great organization and talent. A great place to refine your skills and to learn self-defense. Excellent professionalism. The owners are committed to their business.
I've had such a good experience here. An inclusive jiujitsu community that welcomes everyone. I have no prior jiujitsu experience and found the instruction very clear, effective, and patient. I also have a child that trains here, and they do a great job with her.
The community here is top notch, too, with other members being very helpful and understanding of everyone's personal and shared journeys.
Our two kiddos 5 and 7 love their class. In only six months we’ve seen our oldest blossom in confidence and physical awareness. He brags about how he exercises being still and concentrating in class. Our youngest has a hard time in new group situations and he has just slipped right in and is so happy. The instructor is really fun and attentive to the kids needs and learning. It’s been a great experience for our family.
I have been Professor Bravos training partner for over a decade since the time he lived in NYC and have been sharing the mats and the love of the sport from the very beginning at Lotus club New York (2009).I know that his dream was at one point to open his own dojo and share the knowledge that he obtain from Professor Eduardo's teachings thru out the years. If you choose to go and train with him I can guaranty you a very friendly martial arts environment that caters to all level students from the very beginner to advance.Professor Bravo is a very passionate individual with a wealth of Knowledge and tournament experience.Lotus club Jiujitsu roots originate from São Paulo Brazil and focuses a lot on the traditional style kimono Jiujitsu witch in my opinion is the best way to start your journey in the gentle art.If you live in the Seattle area pop in and take a class, you won't be disappointed! Osssss !
I started 3 months ago with no prior experience and I couldn't be happier to have found Lotus to begin my jiu jitsu journey. Professor Bravo is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also a gifted and patient teacher who genuinely cares about each of his students. Every person I've met here has been very welcoming and inclusive, making it feel like a tight knit community who supports each other to learn, grow, and meet whatever goals we have for ourselves. I hope to enroll my daughter here when she gets a bit older as it's clear the kids program is thriving as well. No hesitations in recommending Lotus to anyone thinking about joining!
As a woman new to a gym what I'm looking for is to feel safe and welcomed. And Lotus provided that from the very start, especially through their Women's Classes. Every class I leave with a smile, having felt challenged, empowered, and exhausted in the best way. I also appreciate knowing this is a club committed to social justice and serving the community.
I started training recently and can’t be happier with the values here at Lotus: safety, detail-oriented, and the sense of community. Professor treats his craft with love and respect and it emanates through his instruction, organization, and sincere desire to help everyone improve. The other practitioners are dedicated not only their growth but your growth as well.
Mindful self defense training with a patient knowledgeable instructor. A wonderfully supportive training environment that offers a safe community for all. Rolls that are well worth your time and commitment.
What a wonderful place it is for the little ones to burn some energy, practice Jiujitsu and learn some self control.
My kids are loving it and couldn't recommend them more!
From the minute I stepped on the mat and met the team, I had a great time. Coach Bravo is excellent, and all of his students follow his example to be friendly and helpful. I have a spine injury from a recent unrelated accident a few months ago, and their team was totally accommodating. Every member worked with me carefully to make sure not to put pressure on my neck, and they modified techniques to make sure that even though there were things I couldn't do, I could still gain something from the class. I'd highly recommend this gym for being safe and fun. You won't find kinder people anywhere.
Our son has attended Lotus for close to 2 years and has found a wonderfully supportive community to learn Jiu Jitsu and all benefits of this thoughtful martial art.
Jessica and Enrique are both amazing humans and teachers. They come at the historic martial art that is jujitsu with a lens of inclusion and acceptance - all all people and skills. On the mat, patience and respect are expected, and Enrique knows how to foster it in students (young and old). Jessica is an amazing communicator and is super flexible with scheduling. She also solicits feedback from practitioners to improve programming. I (and my kids) love Lotus and would recommend it to anyone looking for an energetic way to stay grounded.
I highly recommend Lotus BJJ! My 6-year-old daughter started taking virtual classes with Lotus BJJ around the beginning of the pandemic (early 2020) and for the past year+ has been doing classes in-person. As a parent, it can be hard finding a good fit in terms of extracurricular activities, and I have been so impressed with this organization. I know that when my daughter is at the Lotus BJJ dojo, she is seen, safe, cared for, respected and encouraged. Over these past 2 years, I have seen growth in her discipline, building community with others, and empowerment. I appreciate the care and passion that the owners, Profe Bravo and his wife Jessica, bring to the dojo every day. As a BIPOC parent, it is also important to me to be intentional about the spaces that my children are in and to see diversity of ethnic and other social identities. Lotus BJJ encourages and welcomes this diversity. My daughter looks forward to her BJJ classes each week and I feel both lucky and proud to be in the Lotus BJJ family.
Lotus jiu-jitsu club was the best place to be for my 5yo daughter after we faced grief and some hardships in housing, she is thriving and is becoming a more confident little girl than she used to be. The team who is welcoming our kids are just genuinely amazing and are doing an excellent job at teaching this self defense martial art! Very appreciative of their effort!
I’ve trained in the past with Lotus Club in Queens, NY. I travel to Seattle about once a year, so I am really happy that Lotus now has a location in this city. I’ve had the pleasure of training with Prof Enrique each time I pass through Seattle. This is a warm and welcoming environment that honors the values of Lotus Club. The professor has a deep understanding of BJJ and various other martial arts. He is a life-long student which helps him explain techniques and strategy in a way that we can all understand. He knows how to meet his students where they are, and how to bring out the best in them. If you live in the city or are a practitioner just passing through, I would highly recommend visiting Lotus Club Seattle (prof Enrique is very welcoming to visitors from all schools, if you need a place to train on your travels, this is it!!)
Can't say enough about what an amazing community Professor Enrique and Jessica have created here in Seattle. My daughter has built confidence, strength, and serious fighting skills, and she has met life-long friends and mentors. As she grows into a young woman, I feel immensely comforted that she has this experience and training. We feel so lucky to have found Lotus!
I've known Professor Enrique and Jessica for about 20 years. They are two of the most talented, kindhearted, and honorable people I know. They are special people who live out their commitment to community and social justice in everything they do. I mention these things because character is one of the first things you should look for in a martial arts instructor. I had the pleasure of training with Professor Enrique in NYC just before I became a blue belt. Like all good BJJ instructors, he is great at sparring safely with beginners in a way that challenges them and enables them to learn. As a Lotus Jiu Jitsu black belt, Professor Enrique's lineage is strong and he learned from one of the best, Professor Eduardo Santos, who I also had the pleasure of training under. If you're in Seattle, this is the place to be to begin or continue your BJJ journey.
Lotus is an incredible place to train. Professor is extremely patient and insightful. Lotus provides a safe environment to learn and grow with the sport. It’s a great space for kids as well as adults to get into BJJ. I especially love how their whole family is involved and so it feels like a fantastic environment for anyone, or everyone, in the family to get involved with BJJ. While I trained with them in their earliest stages awhile back, if I was in Seattle long term, my whole family would be training with them consistently.
Amazing experience!!! Everyone at this gym is extremely helpful and gives such a positive vibe to the sport. This gym has given my family such great support, love, and guidance. I would 100% recommend anyone who wants to train, from any age, to train at this place.
Our son and daughter have been learning Jiu Jitsu for about 6 months now. Professor Enrique and Jessica are amazing! Great family environment! Clean facility and mats! Fun teammates! I feel like our kids have bettered themselves physically and mentally, the discipline they have learned here is carried over to every aspect of their life, to other sports and how they behave at home. We’d highly recommend this facility to anyone, adults and children.
My son really love going to each class and I always see the great improvements that he is gaining. And I am about to enroll my daughter as well so she could join the fun. Thank you so much Professor.
I stopped in one day as the locations and times worked out for me. Alot more is needed when choosing a good gym so still after that your taking a chance. Professors method of training in combination with his skills and experience equal a very pleasant experience on the mats as well as an abundance of knowledge to gain on your bjj journey. Very community oriented , the guys and gals that train there are also super cool and great to train with.
If your interested in learning BJJ and your around the south seattle area, look them up!!!
I feel lucky to have been able to train with Prof. Bravo while I was on vacation in Olympia. It was more than worth the hour drive! The instruction is platinum quality and classes are systematically organized. everything is detail oriented. Beyond the jiu jitsu, it's clear that this is a school founded on solid principles. It's an inclusive, but no nonsense environment. Other students are very personable, welcoming, and kind. Their jiu jitsu is solid too! I've trained in a lot of gyms in several cities. So I can easy say this is a special place to train.
I’ve trained at a handful of BJJ/mma gyms over the last 7 years or so, for a couple months at a time and after recently moving, I wanted to find another gym. I was recommended Lotus by a friend who was already training here and I couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for in a gym. Everyone is incredibly helpful, friendly, and brings out the best in you. Although I’ve only been training a few weeks, everyone feels like family and I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Lotus BJJ
I'm posting this review from a new account because my original post does not seem to be visible. If you see this twice, I'm not trying to spam a 5-star - though Lotus is worthy of it. My high school aged son and I have been training with Professor for just over 3 months now. We had been looking for something physical and martial arts related to get involved with as the pandemic restrictions start to lift, and I've had some not so great BJJ experiences in the past so I was a little wary. That being said, we feel incredibly privileged to be able to train at Lotus. So welcoming! Such great instruction - not only from Professor but the more experience students as well. It's a great workout with many life lessons to be had. Jiu Jitsu is a great sport and great self defense. It epitomizes the "productive struggle" that is good learning, and Professor has established a culture in which students at every level feel safe to engage, make mistakes, and continue to learn with joy. I can only give you my highest recommendation to check out Lotus!

Best jiu jitsu school. The profesor(instructor) is incredible, he is very good with children and truly care about them. It has a family feel that is very welcoming to both new and existing students. They work to develop the students physically and mentally. My daughter love it, and she don't want to miss even one class. I highly recommend this lotus jiu jitsu for anyone who looking the right place for their loved one.
I've been training at Lotus for over 5 months now and I can't be happier with my decision. The Professor and everyone that practices there are extremely welcoming and friendly, they are always ready to help, and you won't feel awkward for not knowing as much as other people there.
I started practicing with an only women pod, but I had to move to another where I'm the only woman, and I'm still feeling as comfortable as on the first pod.
Greatly appreciate the lotus family, my son has been going for about two or three months. He loves the class and is highly upset when he has to miss it. It’s his first time doing something like it and I can’t believe after his first class he was hooked. Proud Dad over here.
I highly recommend this class for any kid that wants to learn BJJ.
Lotus has been a amazing place to start my jiu jitsu journey. Profe is an excellent teacher that takes the time to make sure that you are understanding the important concepts and nuances of each move.
The community he has helped to create is welcoming to all experience levels, and the team members that I’ve trained with have all been equally as helpful. 10/10 would recommend!
Update 2/16/22: I had to provide an update because so much has changed since my initial review. For starters, my girls are now 8 and 5 lol. This review was pre-pandemic, and that is what I am really wanting to update.
They paused all services at the start of the pandemic like everything else did. When they reopened they had very strict cleaning and health protocols. They were easy to follow because those were the health protocols they always had! Professor Bravo has always been very serious about maintaining a safe and clean environment.
We have manage to train all this time during the pandemic without a single breakout - if that isn't enough to convince you about the care Lotus takes to keep us all safe then I invite you to show up and see the cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Then remember, these were our protocols before anyone ever heard of Covid-19!!
I love that the membership at the dojo has exploded during this time and it is full of really amazing people. It is a terrific place for kids and because of that many of us have become close friends because of the great environment and the type of people it attracts. I know some of our fellow members have said they left their dojos and joined Lotus because of the care and intention around creating a welcoming family environment.

Incredible workout, high quality training, real family atmosphere. Love taking my 5yo and 2.5yo daughters to train as well.
I have been training here for a couple of months now and it has exceeded all my expectations. I'm a BJJ beginner and was happy to find a super cooperative and friendly atmosphere, with very high quality instruction from a BJJ black belt. I would highly recommend for hobbyist or someone interested in competing as there are several members competing in the regional competitions.
Lotus Jiu Jitsu Seattle is a fantastic dojo to be apart of. Over the past three years it has become apart of my family. The bonds shared on the mat follow beyond to outside the doors. The Lotus family goes outside of the borders of Seattle as well. I was able to goto Lotus New York and meet Professor Eduardo. I was met there with just as much love and sense of family as i do here in Seattle.
Professor Bravo is a patient, dedicated and caring instructor. I have personally done four competitions and have done well under the guidance of Professor Bravo. Our competition team has travelled to Vegas, Oregon and all over Washington State. The comradery is like no other. Win or lose the team will cheer you on and raise your spirits.
Safety is a major priority here at Lotus Jiu Jitsu Seattle. Professor Bravo does a great job with ensuring proper cleaning protocols and enforcing current public safety guidelines around Covid-19. If you are looking for a safe, fun and friendly place to train. Look no further!
We have been with Professor Barvo at Lotus Jujitsu for over two years now and are stronger, happier, and more confident for it.
My kids and I are all in separate classes, youth, teen, and for those who identify as women, but we have a family night too, for us to bond and share what we have learned.
No matter why you begin in Jujitsu; self defense, mental/ physical health, competition. You will get more because of the kind strength Bravo teaches with. His guest teacher's bring new perspective, the tournaments are exciting and there is a class for everyone. All are welcomed.
I highly recommend.
Professor Bravo is the definition of a true martial artist. Very humble, professional, and passionate for the art. It's always a pleasure training at Lotus!
I recently had the privilege of teaching a seminar and training at lotus club Bjj in Seattle. First, mats were immaculate. Professor Bravo takes great pride in keeping a safe and clean environment for his students.
His students are really welcoming and we’re excited to learn something new. I had the opportunity to roll with everyone that attended class and was impressed with the quality of jiu Jitsu. Afterwards I had a conversation with Professor and he broke down his systematic approach to teaching jiu Jitsu. I was really impressed with him and the school.
I have been training jiu Jitsu for 10 years and have been in gyms all over the country. I strongly recommend that if you live in Seattle and are interested in Jiu Jitsu you try Lotus Club out!
I personally want to thank Professor Bravo and his students for the hospitality they showed me!
I began with Lotus about 6 months ago with no prior experience in BJJ. It is a very welcoming environment and they have built a strong community to support the improvement of everybody involved. I feel that their focus on fundamentals has gone a long way towards helping me establish a strong base in this art.
Lotus is a great gym to be part of and learn Brazilian Jiu jitsu. Professor Enrique is very knowledgeable and breaks down all the techniques in a beginner friendly way. The atmosphere at the gym is extremely welcoming and the people are great! I’d recommend Lotus jiu jitsu to everyone in the Seattle area
Came to train at Lotus Seattle while I was on a business trip and it was a great experience! Professor Bravo was very communicative when I reached out to him about training and all the teammates were great partners to roll with. Very welcoming and knowledgeable community, will definitely be back again!

I have had such amazing experiences here. I was in the Wednesday women's class and my toddler twins also had a class on Thursdays. They made a special time slot for my twins since they are so young (2 years old) that they couldn't participate with the older kids. Very accommodating and welcoming. The professor was very patient with my daughter, she was so shy when we first came she would run from him or just stand perfectly still and stare at him from a distance. But after 2 months my twins started to mimick what we were doing. It was such a beautiful sight to see my kids actually pick up the sport.i hope to return soon so my kids can get even more exposure to the mat. As for myself I loved the feeling and confidence it gave me when I attended. Its hard work but so very rewarding. I highly recommend and encourage this spot.
One day, my son told me he wanted to learn how to fight. After researching many martial arts programs, our family came across Lotus Bjj. The core values/positive philosophy of this program along with the splendid experience and background of Professor Enrique aligned with what we were looking for in a dojo for our son.
My son began classes earlier this summer and we have already noticed his confidence, agility and passion for health unfold. We really enjoy the camaraderie, exercise and positive influence in our son’s life; especially during the challenging pandemic.
I highly recommend Lotus Bjj because of their focus on health and safety, personal growth, the stellar/experienced Professor and because it is so good for my son’s soul and wellbeing. Best of all, he loves it!
Thank you Lotus Bjj!
I've been training here for about 4-5 months. Ive done Jui Jitsu for about 5 years.
I Can't recommend them enough.
They're very friendly and welcoming. They welcomed me and my 2 year old (!) In for training and we instantly felt at home. We've been growing together and after a couple months of that i joined their group classes in the mornings.
They do private and group lessons, and both are excellent. We typically work specific techniques for about half the class, and then spend the other half working on specific positional rolling.
The professor is an awesome person, fun to talk to, gives great feedback while training, and spends time on you as an individual. He also helped me build my patio!
Lotus has an active and fun community that talks through what's app, and as covid ends is planning multiple tournament trips.
Overall a great place to train and make friends.
I’ve been bringing my family (of 5) here for quite some time now and the training we have received has been excellent. The professor and his family hold the highest respect for family and training and they have far exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a place to better yourself, your body and your mind as well as learning how to defend yourself, look no further!
This program has helped me heal from bodily injuries in a fun, challenging and most of all: safe. The instructor pays close attention to each student to bring out their best, always taking into consideration the main purpose of their learning. I highly recommend this to the our youth to become physically strong and mentally sharp. Thank you Lotus Jiu Jitsu
I have previously trained with Professor Bravo and was so happy to see what he has built in Seattle when I visited. The atmosphere here is welcoming and supportive, which makes learning Jiu Jitsu enjoyable and fosters a true team spirit of students helping each other learn. Professor has a very practical approach to Jiu Jitsu and incorporates traditional techniques with sports psychology to really sharpen your skills. The instruction even includes meditative, relaxing breathing. I was also offered a loaner kimono to make my training session seamless and easy. Professor Bravo is incredibly knowledgable and also a great teacher. Lotus is definitely the best place in the Seattle area to train and learn Jiu Jitsu.
We are so lucky to have found Lotus Jiu Jitsu. Professor teaches with a lot of sincerity and respect for the tradition while still making it fun for the kids!!! I like the family-oriented culture. Our kids love it and have gained new skills and new friendships since starting here.
Our 4 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter have had such an amazing experience here. Teaches young children self-defense, resiliency, and work ethic. I feel so fortunate to have found Lotus Jiu Jitsu for them. Professor is patient and professional. Trust them completely to have a positive impact.
5/5 100% of the time. Professor Bravo is knowledgeable, fun, encouraging yet serious with training. His teaching style is absolutely transparent and philosophical. I have to say Lotus and Professor Bravo are high quality elements to learning your next martial art form. I love it.
I travel a lot for work and it can be hard for me to find places that are willing to take travelers as new students. Not Lotus, they welcomed me with open arms and were extremely accommodating, they asked me what I was training for instead of just folding me into a curriculum. Professor Bravo has one of the best teaching styles I've ever had the fortune of learning under. Theres many things that I've improved on and learned just from my short time training here and I look foreword to continuing my journey when I eventually make it back from working.
Lotus isn't just a place to learn Jiu Jitsu. It's a community and a family, dedicated to the lifestyle and teachings of the gentle art.
Oss. Lotus BJJ has been the greatest experience. Professor is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and caring. Professor is able to communicate complex movements and make them easier to understand. Lotus BJJ has been soooooo welcoming. From when you first step on the mats you can’t help but feel like you belong. All people that Professor trains are stand up people. Incredibly respectful. Aside from all the things I have said above it’s also an amazing workout. You feel so invigorated after just a single session. Lotus BJJ has been absolutely the best thing for me and my family (both my daughter and myself train). If you’re looking to better yourself in confidence, strength, flexibility, conditioning or self defense you cannot find a better place than Lotus BJJ.
Professor Bravo is a great jiujitsu practitioner and teacher. His teaching style is effective for everyone of all ages, skill level, and ethnic backgrounds. He ensures the academy has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel safe to train. Whether you’ve been training for 10+ years or never trained before, stop by for your free trial lessons you won’t regret it.
El profe, Professor Enrique "Bravo”, has over 25 years in Jiu Jitsu Business. Over the last year in particular, I have had the great distinction to learn, with and for Professor Bravo and his family of 4. Hint, hint... very family friendly environment. We have drilled, rolled and seen lil kiddos roll like KungFu Pandas on and off the mats on many occasions, I luv it! and so NOT I’m tough, I’m buff and hear me roar gym environment. We have mothers and their youngin’s here!!! We have FAMILIA where I learned things that I will take forward with me as a Jiu Jitsuka and a humble human being for the rest of my life. Thanks Profe... and for those still reading this, if you have ever had the audacity to check your intersectionality on issues on social justice, feminism, science and the application of Sun Tzu's "Art of War", then this would be the place to start that journey.
Ps. He loves his tamales. Loves his cafecito. And loves his Beacon Hill. All in all a great community asset, and so honored to call him a friend.
I have trained quite a few places on my BJJ journey but training at Lotus Club feels like a forever home. The small class size, Close knit family vibes, and incredible competition experience of professor Enrique has helped me improve leaps and bounds and meet great friends while doing it. The professor and his wife are on a mission to improve the community through BJJ and I can say personally I look forward to every class and wake up with a smile on days I get to train. Come train here you won’t regret it.
I lucked out when I found Lotus Jiu Jitsu. When I walked in for my first Jiu Jitsu class as a fresh white belt with zero formal training I was relieved to find out Professor Bravo has a teaching style that accommodates all levels of skill. The environment and other students there are very welcoming and make you feel part of the Lotus family. As a beginner, I would highly recommend this place!!
The black belt professor here is an amazing leader, Ive had the honor of training with him for some time. He explains technique extremely well where its understandable to all levels. If youre beginning or continuing your BJJ path I would suggest training here.
Professor Bravo is very knowledgeable and amazing instructor about jiu jitsu. He is very dedicated human being and nice guy. We been training together almost 10years at Lotus Bjj NYC. Now he started new journey at Seattle. Lucky to all who stay with bravo and train with him. Highly recommanded! Osss
Highly recommend the whole team, but special shout out to Profe Enrique! I hadn't done martial arts since I was a kid, but felt both challenged and welcomed.
Quality training from a dedicated teacher. I've known Mr. Enrique for many years now, and have had the honor of getting private lessons from him when he was first starting out. The man is dedicated to his craft and has a real gift for getting you to understand not just how to do certain techniques, but why they work in that particular situation. He's also just a good person in general. He says what he means, and means what he says. People like that are rare these days. Highly recommended.
Don’t hesitate to go and check out Lotus Seattle if you have a chance. Professor Enrique is very knowledgeable and a great teacher of the art. I have trained with him in the past and was able to learn very well with his direction. If you’re considering trying out BJJ, I have a 100% confidence that Professor Enrique will take care of you!
I highly recommend Professor Enrique. I started my Jiujitsu Journey with him back in NYC. He was very encouraging and passionate about helping me understand the fundamentals of the sport. He also introduced Jiujitsu to my 4 year old daughter and she loves it.
Professor Bravo is a focused driven family oriented person and treats his work the same way. I trust that I will receive a full core body training, while also learning how to release my mind & stresses.
I was a student of Professor Enrique at Lotus BJJ in NYC. He is an excellent instructor, highly technical but easy to understand, plus a seasoned competitor who has the real-world expertise to help you develop your game.
More importantly, he treats each student with respect and intentionality, no matter who you are and what your abilities are starting out. This is not a place to smash or else get smashed. This is a place where competition-level BJJ skills are linked to a philosophy of uplifting and empowering those around us. Trust me when I say that's rare.
It was a highly technical and intense rolling session. Professor Enrique was very down to earth. I’m a mid-level white belt and felt included while learning. The professor creates a family environment for us to train!
Professor Enrique coached my nieces and I have seen the incredible impact it has made for them not just as competitors but as empowered, confident young womyn!!! They were given vital tools for increasing their
Strength. For Dealing with stress. And GREATLY enhanced the real life survival skills tested in the NY Jiu Jitsu scene. #proudaunt #proudtia #ColombianJiuJitsu #ColombianJiuJitsu #ColombianosEnSeattle

Professor Bravo is a great educator and can work with a variety of skill levels. His attention to detail and compulsiveness with cleanliness towards health protection is a very important facet to me beyond the training itself. I would definitely recommend him to beginners as well as advanced learners.
Tried to stop by for an open mat. They wouldn't disclose their location or allow me to train. I've been doing Jiu-Jitsu for 10 years and I have never seen such unwelcoming behaviour.
