I started 3 months ago with no prior experience and I couldn't be happier to have found Lotus to begin my jiu jitsu journey. Professor Bravo is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also a gifted and patient teacher who genuinely cares about each of his students. Every person I've met here has been very welcoming and inclusive, making it feel like a tight knit community who supports each other to learn, grow, and meet whatever goals we have for ourselves. I hope to enroll my daughter here when she gets a bit older as it's clear the kids program is thriving as well. No hesitations in recommending Lotus to anyone thinking about joining!

I've had such a good experience here. An inclusive jiujitsu community that welcomes everyone. I have no prior jiujitsu experience and found the instruction very clear, effective, and patient. I also have a child that trains here, and they do a great job with her. The community here is top notch, too, with other members being very helpful and understanding of everyone's personal and shared journeys.

Our two kiddos 5 and 7 love their class. In only six months we’ve seen our oldest blossom in confidence and physical awareness. He brags about how he exercises being still and concentrating in class. Our youngest has a hard time in new group situations and he has just slipped right in and is so happy. The instructor is really fun and attentive to the kids needs and learning. It’s been a great experience for our family.

I’ve trained in the past with Lotus Club in Queens, NY. I travel to Seattle about once a year, so I am really happy that Lotus now has a location in this city. I’ve had the pleasure of training with Prof Enrique each time I pass through Seattle. This is a warm and welcoming environment that honors the values of Lotus Club. The professor has a deep understanding of BJJ and various other martial arts. He is a life-long student which helps him explain techniques and strategy in a way that we can all understand. He knows how to meet his students where they are, and how to bring out the best in them. If you live in the city or are a practitioner just passing through, I would highly recommend visiting Lotus Club Seattle (prof Enrique is very welcoming to visitors from all schools, if you need a place to train on your travels, this is it!!)

My high school age son and I have been training with Professor for about 3 months now. We had been looking for something physical and martial arts related to get involved with as the pandemic restrictions start to lift, and I've had some not so great BJJ experiences in the past so I was a little wary. That being said, we feel incredibly privileged to be able to train at Lotus. So welcoming! Such great instruction - not only from Professor but the more experience students as well. It's a great workout with many life lessons to be had. Jiu Jitsu is a great sport and great self defense. It epitomizes the "productive struggle" that is good learning, and Professor has established a culture that everyone at every level feels safe to engage, make mistakes, and continue to learn with joy. I can only give you my highest recommendation to check out Lotus!
