Posted 12 months agoAbsolutely amazing place to train, I have been a member of the club for over a year now. Mark’s a fantastic instructor, really welcoming. There’s no egos, as soon as you join you feel very welcome, you get the buzz and can’t stop talking about BJJ. Awesome way to lose weight as well, I’ve lost about 20 kilos since starting.
Posted 2 years agoThe most welcoming friendly gym ever! Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and has a passion for teaching and is a great life long martial artist, I would recommend anyone of any age and gender to try bjj it’ll honestly make your life better.
Posted 2 years agoApprehensive at first to try something new, but a very welcoming group who are very helpful to newcomers, it's a great workout too, and really gets the adrenalin going in ways you never knew! Very knowledgeable instructors Would highly recommend getting involved, wish I started sooner.
Posted 3 years agoThis is a great school. The tatami's are fairly big so a lot of people can train at once without rolling into each other or not being able to see the instructors demos. I've been here a few times for seminars and the instructors ( resident and guests) are always great. Mark is a really knowledgeable guy and hosts some great black belts and higher grades to learn from. The group of regulars itself is a pretty friendly bunch and you feel welcome even when you've travelled from another city to visit like I have. I've learnt from a lot of dojo's/ martial arts schools over the years and I have to say the service and knowledge here is some of the best.
