Great place to learn jiu jitsu , family friendly
I had no previous experience with martial arts before joining this Jiu-Jitsu academy, and I was a bit nervous at first. From day one, everyone was incredibly welcoming and supportive. The instructors are patient, explain techniques clearly, and truly care about helping beginners feel comfortable and confident. I also love the women’s classes. They provide a safe, encouraging environment where we can learn and grow together. It has made a huge difference in my confidence and overall experience. Highly recommend this academy to anyone, especially beginners and women thinking about starting Jiu-Jitsu!
The instructors, John and Derek are super professional. They are patient and friendly. They help me a lot and take time to explain every move in the classes. Every detail matters and they care. If you are keen to details and want to improve your skills, this is The best BJJ gym you can find.
Wow! What an amazing experience, the coaches John and Derek were profoundly knowledgeable, incredibly communicative and knew how to be patient and teach. 10/10 would recommend especially for those who want to learn to be safe in the streets of east London.

Even though the academy hasn’t officially opened yet, I’m already impressed with everything I’ve seen so far! The facility looks clean, modern, and well-equipped — you can tell a lot of care has gone into preparing the space. The team behind it seems genuinely passionate about teaching and building a positive community around Jiu-Jitsu. I had the chance to meet the instructors during an open house event, and they were super welcoming and knowledgeable. What really stood out was their focus on helping kids, beginners, and people from all walks of life feel at home on the mats. Can’t wait for the grand opening! If you’re thinking about starting BJJ or looking for a great place to train, keep an eye on this academy — it’s going to be something special.
As a complete beginner to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than what I experienced at this gym. The instructors were incredibly helpful and patient, always taking the time to answer my questions and explain techniques clearly. It made a big difference in helping me feel comfortable and supported from day one

I felt very comfortable in the women’s jiu-jitsu class. The instructor is highly technical and creates a very welcoming and respectful environment. It was a great experience. I absolutely recommend it 100%!
