Came from out of state and everyone was incredibly welcoming. If I lived closer, this would be the school I would train at. No egos, adaptable, and extremely family-oriented. Not once did I feel like I was intruding. And the instruction was well done!

I visited this BJJ gym for a Thursday night class and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and I had a great training session with the students. Professor Ed took the time to help me fine-tune my back escapes, which I truly appreciated.
This is an excellent academy to train at, whether you're just stopping by or looking for a permanent Jiu-Jitsu training spot. Thank you, everyone, for the great hospitality!

Top notch training! Ed, Matt and the rest of the coach are excellent at helping students of various ages and level progress along their journey. There is never a time I feel left behind or lost. Also it is such a welcoming environment and none of the "thrown to wolves" mentality.

Great family friendly jiu jitsu school. I was visiting from out of town. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try out jiu jitsu for themselves or their kids

Legacy BJJ is a great place to learn and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. All class times (morning, noon and evening) are taught by top level instructors that are top level people too. Lessons are detail oriented and they take time to make sure everyone understands, often sticking around after class to help.
The students are great people as well, willing to learn and willing to help fellow students learn along with them. Legacy has been the perfect fit for me and I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in learning the art of BJJ.

My daughter recently moved to Omaha, so it was important that I find a place to train when I come to visit her (from California). After careful research and 2 drop in classes later, I have found my new Jiu-Jitsu home away from home at Legacy BJJ. I took class from both Professors Matt and Ed.
As an older (female) white belt, they customized their instruction to meet my needs: challenge but not overwhelm. My priority was to train safely but also have fun. The students I met there were friendly and supportive.
I recommend this school to locals but also visitors. Whenever I'm in Omaha, you can bet that I'll be spending time here!

So many youth sports today are surrounded by over competitive tones and negativity, everything at Legacy is positive and builds these kids up. I ask my kids every night we are free if they want to attend BJJ and they always want to go. I see their skills and confidence building every time we are there.
This has been a great place for myself also. Being an adult and stepping out to learn a new sport/skill can be intimidating. From day one I never felt that way at this gym. The environment and welcoming nature of this place is awesome.

Legacy BJJ has a great atmosphere. Everyone is there to help each other out if people are struggling with the technique. The fundamental jiu-jitsu style taught there is actually useful and applicable to real life self defense instead of being useful in competitions only.
Legacy BJJ is a great place to train! Both Ed and Matt are extremely competent instructors who teach a fundamental style of jiu-jitsu that works for anyone willing to learn.
Great facility to train in. Class was very structured, team mates were all friendly. They offer kids classes at the same time as adult classes on a separate mat. Great for parents!
