Updated review here. We absolutely love Leadership Martial Arts. My son has been attending for almost 4 years now. My daughter, my father in law, and Myself joined 6 months ago, and we are really enjoying it. Great instructors, great environment, and an incredible curriculum to ensure that everyone of every ability level has the opportunity to succeed and advance ranks. We're really looking forward to continuing our black belt journeys.

My 11-year-old daughter and I have been taking classes here together for the last 4 years. The Leadership community has become very special to us. We have grown so much physically and mentally. I love that we continue to learn important life and leadership skills that serve us, as well as help us serve others.

Daughter has been enjoying LMA Hudson and was so proud she broke the beginner board in class. Continuing on past the 4 week intro to an official member! Pil Sung!

I came into this gym as a visitor. I work as an actor and was here to make season two of Blue Ridge. The gym was clean and friendly, and there was great guys to roll with and the energy was fun. And when it wasn’t fun. It was being more fun. This is the most incredible place I have ever seen to train in any of the places I travel to. Not bad in the rest the gym just go ahead and feel free to step up. Anywhere near Charlotte and you’re a BJJ fan or MMA you have to check out this gym.

Amazing place and staff! Wanted to try something different for my kiddo during fall break. Well, Leadership Martial Arts didn't disappoint. My daughter was excited to go EVERYDAY! She enjoyed the activities and meeting new friends. Not to mention, she rested extremely well at the end of the day. Haha! Personable staff. I just can't say enough great things! Thank you for an amazing experience! We are both looking forward to returning! 10/10 stars!!

My son has been attending Leadership Martial Arts for several months and I can't say enough good things about the experience. He absolutely loves it! The instructors are amazing — patient, skilled, and really know how to keep them engaged while teaching valuable lessons in discipline, respect, and self-defense. It has been wonderful to see my son’s confidence grow both on and off the mat. He looks forward to every class and always comes home excited to show us what he’s learned. The school does a fantastic job of creating a positive, encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable but also challenged to do their best. If you're looking for a martial arts school where your child will not only learn important skills but also have fun, Leadership Martial Arts is the perfect place.

Leadership Martial Arts is an extension of family, we are very lucky to have them as part of our community. Our school age children have learned so much since they started over 2 years ago. Every member of the Leadership team is positive in their approach to teaching and growing each student through the teaching of martial arts.

We LOVE it here, everyone feels like family. My son started with the summer camp and it's amazing. Great activities, games, and fun field trips. They will send your kid home TIRED. Now he's been doing weekly classes and every instructor is great. They are so patient with him and really meet each kid where they are at, no matter their experience level. In less than a year I can see his skill at martial arts improving, but even more importantly his confidence, perseverance, and teamwork too.

I started my martial arts journey training under Professor Richardson at Leadership Martial Arts. I was one of his first students. He is an amazing teacher and an all around great guy. I have since gone on to start a self-defense school in Kenya Africa! I will always be great-full and look back fondly on the time I spent training at Leadership Martial arts and I highly recommend that you start your martial arts journey with them as well!

Our son began his Martial Arts journey here over 5 years ago now. We have watched him go from learning punches, kicks, and rolls in the Dragon's program to earning his Black Belt. Throughout his journey, he has received incredible support and encouragement from the staff and fellow member's. To say that Leadership Martial Arts has been a great influence in his life would be an understatement, and we have nothing but great things to say about them.

We love Leadership Martial Arts because it is run by great people who are fully invested in building its members up from the inside out. This has been the perfect setting for personal growth for our son and it has given him life skills and confidence that serve him well in every aspect of his life.

My son has been taking Kyuki-Do here and loves it. The staff is all incredibly friendly and helpful. They take the time to get to know the students and lead with love. They teach discipline and tell the students to always use “ma’am” or “sir”. It is so refreshing and wonderful!

Leadership Martial Arts is such a great academy. My son has been in the academy for almost two years and there is such a change in him in a positive way. The instructors are amazing and are nothing but helpful. Always greeting us and making us feel welcome. It's such a family feel here. We HIGHLY recommend joining. And the best part is that it's for all ages!!!

Leadership Martial Arts has immensely changed not only my physical health, but also my mental health! It’s a great way to challenge your mind & body, while simultaneously getting to learn with, and from others on your martial arts journey. Master Garves does a great job at leading his students into a Black Belt mentality; Guiding each person individually, yet together.

Could not have been happier with this academy. The structure was easy to catch on to, the instructors take the time to help, and the overall atmosphere is positive. This is a great place to learn martial art and even life skills!

My son did a 4 week promotion and fell in love with the program. Every week there are words they use to teach him about everyday life also. He remembers a lot of them and uses them a lot. Intergity and perseverance he loves using around our home. He is becoming a great role model for his little sister. I feel like I could write a story about this place but I hope you all get the big picture.

Found this local place online and I didn't know what to expect. We met with staff and began our introductory program for our children. The class schedule provides flexibility for our schedule and after seeing the program our kids are hooked. The leadership component of this program is what I like most for the kids.

The staff at Leadership Martial Arts in Hudson and New Richmond are professional and effective communicators. All instructors are personable and take the time with each student, but also extend this relationship with the parents of students. I have been in different schools and this one is truly top notch! Respect and Dignity at all ranks is followed daily. I truly believe this program has been a new way of life for my daughter and it has helped her in many ways! THANK YOU Leadership Martial Arts for all you do!

We have been enrolled at Leadership Martial Arts for approximately one year. My eight year old has not only demonstrated growth in Kuykido skills, he has improved his self-control, concentration, memory, strength, and perseverance. He just loves his classes and is determined to join the Leadership program after receiving his next belt promotion. As a parent I am impressed by the focus on mind, body and spirit. Master Garves recognizes an individual's strengths and needs, and offers the right amount of discipline and encouragement.

My boys and I go together and it has been great for us to use this as some dad and son time. I also appreciate how Master Garvis and some of the other instructors are able to be positive role models for my boys.

Overall we were happy with the experiences my son had here. Just be aware they make you sign a year long contract they will not let you out of for any reason. My son began experiencing health issues that made him keeping up with attending martial arts impossible anymore and we were told we have to continue paying through the end of our contract regardless. Disappointed in the lack of compassion and understanding from an organization that teaches students those values during lessons.
