My 7 year old has been attending the dojo for almost a year. Andre is such a great person and instructor, he keeps the kids engaged and focused on learning with the right fun incentives. Can't recommend this dojo enough

We've been delighted with our experience at Kikunaga Dojo. It has built in our eight-year-old son confidence, discipline and fun. He's always excited to go, and feels like he's learning a lot.

Wonderful place for children to gain confidence, learn discipline and have fun. A lot of BJJ’s have a children’s program as a side hustle, no Kikunaga, their only focus is children and it’s evident by the warm atmosphere.

My son has been attending Jiu Jitsu with Kikunaga Dojo for over 1.5 years and he absolutely loves it. They teach him how to protect themselves from bullies or potential dangerous situations and also provide them with a sense of confidence and respect for themselves and others. Andre (Sensei) is absolutely amazing with the kids and does a great job ensuring he provides a safe, fun and inclusive environment. I would recommend Kikunaga Dojo to everyone!

I highly recommend Kikunaga Dojo. My daughter has been training here for a couple of months now and I have never seen her as engaged or focussed. She is learning life saving defence skills while being part of a supportive, inclusive martial arts community. I can already see both the physical benefits and the way it is raising her self esteem. Andre is fantastic with his students and infuses his passion for Jiu Jitsu in them every class!
