I have been coming to KB for 4 months now and found it a great place to work on your physical fitness and your mind. They teach you how to deal with real life scenarios and how to maintain calmness in a variety of difficult situations. Sensei and coach have a wealth of knowledge that they pass down to the club and help you progress in yourself. Although sessions are tough they are enjoyable and very rewarding. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn self defence to join KB. It is a great club and thanks to everyone there for support and encouragement throughout my development.
Posted 1 year agoBeen coming to KB since November ‘24. The boys there have been incredible, no egos and ready to help you improve. Sensei is one of a kind! His experience and aura is what flows through the club. The Coach is a dangerous man with a lot of experience and genuinely once of the nicest blokes out there! Couldn’t recommend the club enough!
Posted 1 year agoMy experience at KB has been truly defining. I’ve been a member for 4 months now, and I can positively say it has changed the man I am both physically and mentally. The training environment is challenging and adaptive, which has the potential to cultivates growth in anyone who is determined to take part. Moreover, the teachings passed on from Sensei and Coach have abundant value. Learn effective skills necessary to protect yourself in a variety of realistic scenarios. A big thanks to the guys at KB, There’s no club like it.
Posted 1 year agoIve been going to KB MMA for around 5 months now and can honestly say its one of the best self defence classes ive attended. Coming from a background where violence is anticipated you have to know how to protect yourself and the ones near to you to defuse the situation in a none violent manner but also to be ready to match their force and get out of the situation should that arise. Ive been through extensive training throughout the years but KB offers more. They offer Training, body conditioning, respect, brotherhood and knowledge. With the skills you will learn at KB you are most definitely going to be able to be more confident and have the ability to defend yourself in any situation you may find yourself in, its not repetitive blocks and kicks, its combat, knife, bat, machete disarm, its grappling and a verity of moves and blocks and many more. Definitely a place you want to learn from to get that confidence you need and not to hesitate.
Posted 1 year agoI have to say KB MMA have been a positive influence on me. I am 52 and I have tried other types of fitness and self defence but none was as rewarding as this club. It has given me self confidence in looking after myself if real life trouble arises. They give you real life situations to deal with, not just practicing the same moves over and over again like a dance routine. I achieved my white belt recently which was hard but satisfying that I got it. The Sensai, Coach the high grade belts as well as others on lessor grades push you and motivate, test you to become and improve yourself physically and mentally. The Sensai and coach are teaching from years of real life experience and make you think in different ways to approach a situation you may god forbid find yourself and react by methods they teach you, not fancy but practical so you have a chance. Yes it is full contact at times but they all have your safety in mind. It is the best thing I have I done in years and I feel like I am on journey of growth and strength even at my age!. Thanks to all at KB MMA.
