I can’t recommend Karma Jiu-Jitsu enough! My 5-year-old daughter has been attending for almost a year, and the growth we’ve seen in her has been incredible. She has gained so much confidence, strength, discipline, and valuable self-defence skills. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly care about each child’s development, both on and off the mats. They create a welcoming, family-like environment where every child feels supported and motivated to do their best. You are always welcomed with a big smile by the owners Raechel and Alan Watching my daughter become more confident in herself while having fun and learning important life skills has been amazing. We’re so grateful to be part of the Karma Jiu-Jitsu family, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a positive, empowering activity for their child.

Great No-Gi instructor. Alan makes hard moves simple to learn. You can use what he teaches right away when you practice. This is the best place to get elite bjj in Ajax.

I’ve been training at this gym for a little over a year now, and joining was one of the best decisions I’ve made. From day one, I felt welcomed by both the coaches and the members. The environment is friendly, supportive, and completely free of ego, which makes it a great place to learn and grow. What really sets this gym apart is the coaching. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, but what I appreciate most is how thoughtfully they teach. They don’t just demonstrate techniques—they break everything down in a way that makes sense and explain the “why” behind each movement. That attention to detail In has helped me improve far more than I expected over the past year.

Training at Karma BJJ has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and built on real values. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you feel like part of the team from day one. Coach Alan brings a perfect mix of technical knowledge, patience, and intensity. He breaks down techniques in a way that makes them easy to understand and apply. Coach Rachel brings incredible energy and attention to detail. She’s especially great at helping students refine technique and understand the “why” behind each movement. Karma Jujitsu isn't just a bbj gym but a community, I highly recommend Karma Jujitsu.

Alan and Rachael have created a wonderful environment to learn excellent Jiu Jitsu while also joining a welcoming, supportive, and energetic community! They make sure everyone has a good time and you'll be part of something larger than yourself by training here. Jiu Jitsu is not about Jiu Jitsu!

Karma Jiu Jitsu is an amazing place to train for both kids and adults. We bring all of our kids here and they absolutely love it, and at the same time it’s a great environment for adults as well. Ton of different classes to choose from for everyone. It’s very family-oriented, welcoming, and respectful, and truly feels like a strong, positive community. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place where individuals and families can train and grow in BJJ.

My two sons recently joined Karma Jiu Jitsu, and it has been an absolutely incredible experience from the very first day. We were looking for a place that felt welcoming, and we found exactly that. The owners are wonderful—they truly care about their students and go above and beyond to make everyone feel like part of the family. What has impressed me most is the perfect balance of fun and discipline they bring to the mats. My boys are not only learning technical skills, but they are also developing focus, respect, and confidence in every class. It is such a supportive and positive environment for families, making it the highlight of our week. If you are looking for a place where your children can grow both physically and mentally while having a great time, I can’t recommend Karma Jiu Jitsu enough. It’s been a game-changer for us!

Alan and Raechel were very warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in for a trial. They are professionals in their field as evidenced by numerous awards/medals on the walls. They have a great, huge space and are great coaches to all of the children. The classes include a various jujitsu activities which keep my son engaged and wanting to come back for more. They have flexible schedules which can accommodate everyone. The waiting area is also spacious with lots of toys to keep the waiting siblings entertained. Overall it has been a great experience for us to instil discipline and structure into our son’s life.

Coaches combine deep technical knowledge with genuine patience and encouragement, creating an environment where everyone—beginners and advanced students alike—feels supported and motivated. The classes are well-structured, challenging, and always focused on real skill development. The community is friendly, respectful, and inspiring, making every training session something to look forward to. I’m grateful to be part of this academy and highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow in both confidence and technique. More Power to you 🙌

I’ve had an amazing experience training at this BJJ gym. From day one, the environment has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. Alan and Rachel, in particular, go above and beyond to help beginners feel comfortable and confident on the mats. They take the time to break down techniques clearly, answer questions without hesitation, and create a positive atmosphere where everyone feels included. Whether you’re brand new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or looking to improve your skills, this is the perfect place to train. Highly recommended!
