Sensai Os is a great teacher and the students become very disciplined and respectful as well as properly educated in technique.

Sensei Os is terrific, and we love this dojo! We've been coming here for nearly two years. The kids and families and coaches are wonderful. It's a great atmosphere and you can see right away the positive effect on the kids - they're respectful, self-confident, thoughtful with each other, and eager to engage in the practices and sparring. Sensei Os expects a lot of them, and they rise to meet it. The summer camp sessions are great fun and great training, and we plan to be members for the long term. We are so glad to have found this place!

I've trained with Os Sensei for about a year and I gotta say I've improved so much both physically and mentally. I'm still new to judo but I gotta say the mentality, the skills, and the physicality I developed through a year made me a better person overall. More importantly, judo helps you get rid of the fear of falling and the fear of confrontation, which is very important whether you are in a situation of self defense or competition. I've trained in several martial art schools and I gotta say that some self defense techniques that certain schools teach only work when your opponents are not resisting you. If you want your techniques to work in real life you have to be able to apply them with speed and power and only by getting rid of your fear of being thrown, taken down, punched, strangled, etc will you be able to achieve such goal. Whether you wish to learn judo as self defense or just as a way of workout, look no further, this is THE place in Madison. Os sensei is a 8th degree black belt in judo and there are only a handful of living judokas who earned as high of his rank. With his experience in training with the US Olympic team and multiple national and international champions, you are truly training with one of the BEST instructors not only in the midwest but also the whole country. Come and learn how to throw someone who is also trying to throw you!

Sensei Os is a remarkable judo instructor. Everyone in our family are members. From our 3 year old and up. He is great developing physical ability and strength as well as working on focus for the kids. The difference in my kids has been great, more confidence and fitness. Only down side is my kids want to go at least 5 days a week.

Sensei Os Milan's judo resume is incredible. One of the few 8th degree black belts in the world, International Coach, International Referee, Olympic experience. More importantly, not only does he have the unique ability to teach highly effective judo, he makes class fun too. He's great with kids, and not only do they become physically fit learning a martial art, the learn discipline, mutual respect, confidence, and how to become a better citizen. As an adult student, every class feels like a clinic where he shares his best techniques. Try a class, and you'll be glad you did.
