I’m writing this review from the heart, not as a typical consumer, but as a parent. When we were searching for a jiu-jitsu gym for our daughter, our checklist went far beyond just high-level instruction. We were searching for a genuine community—a place with mentors who would reinforce the values we teach at home and help us shape her into a confident, respectful, and resilient person, both on and off the mats. We found that and so much more here. This gym is a 50-minute drive from our house, one-way, and we’ve been making that trip for over a year now. We do it gladly, because the atmosphere they’ve cultivated is worth every single minute in the car. The moment you walk in, you feel the difference. It's not a cold, hyper-competitive environment; it's a family. We’ve watched the coaches take the time to connect with each child individually, remembering small details about their day and seamlessly weaving critical life lessons about discipline, humility, and perseverance into the technical instruction. They don't just train athletes; they are actively building good human beings. Over this past year, it has been a true honor to build relationships with this team. We’ve seen our daughter’s confidence blossom, not just in her jiu-jitsu skills, but in how she carries herself at school and at home. This is so much more than a gym. It is a second home, a place that partners with parents and invests in the whole child. We are incredibly grateful to have found a community that cares as much about our daughter's character as they do about her technique. I just want to say Thank you.

Young gentleman at the front desk with the Afro is rude and disrespectful. After calling over 3 times I finally received an answer. Upon speaking to the director he gave me the run down on prices and informed me that I could bring my 3yr old and 7yr old to the training. I let him know that I would be late and that I stayed 45 minutes out. He told me that would be ok and that he was actually on his way to the facility himself. After arriving I was told that my kids couldn’t participate and that I could be given a “run down” on what the program consist of. A run down could’ve been given over the phone I was I was under the impression a run down was given over the phone. no remorse for me driving over 40 minutes for a class for my children, just a turn around at the door and a rude gesture from the front desk dude. Very disappointed, I was excited for my kids and eager for them to have a different outlet other than sports. Very distasteful.

One of my go-to gyms whenever I'm in San Antonio. Love the high level instruction and training environment. Chris and his team are very welcoming and there's no shortage of talented training partners on the mat. I look forward to dropping in again soon!

This has some of the most respectable coaches in San Antonio. Incredibly safe environment, where anyone can come train and feel at home. My son started in October of 2023 and it’s been life changing for him. Big thanks to all the coaches and especially the owners for running such a wonderful establishment.

If you’re looking for an inclusive gym with a strong sense of community and elite-level competition, this is the place! My daughter and I started training here about three months ago, and this sport has truly changed our lives. The kids’ classes are fun, interactive, and packed with functional jiujitsu techniques. The coaches are patient, highly knowledgeable, and teach according to each student’s level. My daughter has learned so much, made friends, and built a solid jiujitsu foundation. For the adult classes—whether it’s gi, no-gi jiujitsu, MMA, or judo—my experience has been nothing short of excellent. The professors and coaches take the time to explain concepts clearly and ensure everyone’s safety when rolling or sparring. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is far more than a gym—it’s a dojo and a community. Whether you’re looking for a great workout, a mental outlet, or a place for your kids to develop both physical and emotional strength, this is it. In the words of the powerful Joe Rogan: “Martial arts are a vehicle for developing your human potential.”
