Under the expert guidance of Fabio Prado, a black belt under 10-time world champion Roger Gracie, I’ve witnessed remarkable personal growth both on and off the mats. The academy’s warm and welcoming atmosphere fosters a strong sense of community. From my very first class, I felt embraced by Fabio and fellow students, creating an environment conducive to learning and personal development. Fabio’s teaching approach is exceptional. He breaks down complex techniques into understandable steps, ensuring that students of all levels can grasp and apply them effectively. His emphasis on the deeper philosophies of jiu-jitsu has not only improved my physical abilities but also instilled valuable life lessons.   Before signing up at Jisso, I tried two other schools, and by far, this was the best one. So much so that I also enrolled my son. Fabio and the rest of the staff are amazing. Fabio has a lot of experience teaching adults and kids and is well-connected in the BJJ world, bringing the extra benefit of having the chance to train with and get help from renowned individuals in the BJJ community. As if this wasn't enough, Jisso has a supportive and welcoming community that opens its mats to all. I couldn't have hoped for a better start in the art of BJJ.

  Fantastic jiu jitsu gym. Fabio has a great approach and inspired my very shy daughter to become more confident. Highly recommend trying a class, for both adults and children!

  I joined to the Jisso Academy last year and it's been a huge transformation in my body and mind both understanding the fundamentals of BJJ and applying it. Fabio Prado is such a good teacher to not just show you the move explain why and how slowly. Additionally all the members are very helpful and kind to each other, makes you feel like you're part of the family.

  Dropped in while in London. Fabio immediately treated me like a regular. While the class covered a basic chain of attacks, Fabio gave some fantastic details that even upper belts could learn from. One note, the location can be a little difficult to find as it's currently above a youth center and google likes to take you in a way that's blocked by construction. Thanks again Fabio for the time and hospitality.
