Great teacher. Exhibits a lot of passion for the sport, and that shows in his enthusiasm during class. Does a good job explaining the mechanics of each move and guiding students through issues. Brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience from a lifetime in the sport. Definitely recommend for beginners and veterans alike.

My son has been training Jiu-Jitsu with Coach Jesse for 2 years, and I can honestly say he’s an incredible coach. If anyone I know is even slightly interested in Jiu-Jitsu, Jesse is always my top recommendation. He’s not just dedicated to teaching—he clearly loves what he does and has a true passion for Jiu-Jitsu. When my son started, he was shy and timid, but over these 2 years, I’ve seen an amazing transformation. He’s become so much more confident and resilient, and I couldn’t be happier with his progress. If you’re thinking about Jiu-Jitsu for your child, I can’t recommend Coach Jesse enough. My son was so lucky to have found such an outstanding coach from the very beginning!

Jesse is a great teacher for all levels of experience. He really takes time to answer questions and is very technical in his approach. I definitely recommend taking any of Jesse’s classes you won’t regret it!

Coach Palmer has been great with kids. Every class they’re learning something different and coach goes around to ensure each student is doing it correctly. Sunday classes are great because there are a lot more endurance drills they work through to build stamina and strength. He runs class with a good amount of toughness with a little coddling for the much younger kids. Older kids he tell push to try different moves and refuses to let them use the same submission or hold. Class runs an hour ish long to ensure they get a few rounds of matches amongst the group. My 7 and 10 year old girls do this and TKD and I feel like one helps the other learning new techniques and builds strength and character. Definitely worth a try, we stumbled upon it after missing their TKD class and they’ve been in it for about 7 months now

My son has been going to see Jesse Palmer for about a year now and his skills and confidence are amazing. We now have our daughter training too, and they both love it.
